Drive 10 hours, had to wait over an hour past check in time. The bathroom smelt like pee. Had them come up and clean it again, assumed it was just the hotel condition from being on the beach, wasn’t sure but the rest of the room was clean so I thought I was stuck with that. The pool and ENTIRE pool deck, including hot tub and fire pit areas closed 2 1/2 hours early the first 3 nights. One hot tub was closed completely for the first 2 days. Was told we could use the hot tub and pool at Hilton next door since it was a sister property and their worked, plus I met a ton of people from the Hilton at our pool during the day. First night sitting in Hilton hot tub since ours was closed, 50 minutes before it was time to close- the top flight “security” guard came outside and kicked everyone out that wasn’t staying at Hilton. Told him the situation and that we were told we could be there by the manager, he said “I don’t care what the manager told you, tell the manager to stop telling people that”. Husband and I were floored by his rudeness. There were only a couple other people in the hot tub, not any children, no one being loud, not after hours. We asked to speak to manager, and then BOTH were extremely rude. Taller male, with a suit, dark hair was the manager on site. I will NEVER stay at that Hilton simply for the fact of how rude they were. Still waiting on a credit that is owed to me. 5th time to Fl for vaca, 1st time with a bad experience. Very disappointed.
