No sleep!

Posted May 26, 2014
Our room was pretty clean and the night shift lady was very friendly and helpful. The noise however was unbelievable. There is either cement or some kind if tile floor throughout the hotel so all noises traveled. We were across the hall from the world's loudest ice machine. The air conditioner in our room was so unbelievably loud we couldn't run it long. We didn't sleep well at all!! The pool was open and clean. Breakfast was good. If they could lower the noise level we would go back.

Good for the price!

Posted May 25, 2014
Pros: Price, remodel
They are remodeling which will be even better once it is done. We were there for about 9 hours so cheap was the important thing! No frills and older but just fine.

If they could get the stale smoke smell to go away

Posted May 7, 2014
Pros: It was inexpensive and close to the main roads. The room was comfortable and had a good shower.
Cons: I wish they could get that room to smell better.
Location: Greenwood is about 20 minutes up the road and has lots of restaurants. Indy is just a little further. There in Franklin are some cute stores and bars.
We checked in for an evening. Had a king non-smoking room on the first floor. Walking in I first noticed that stale old smoke smell and knew we were in an old smoking room. There were also cigarette burn stains on the sink and shower and a burn hole in the chair. The floor is tiled, which I liked. I didn't have to worry about a grime factor on my feet when I took off my shoes. However the maid cart rolling down the hallway in the AM nearly brought me out of the bed! The floor was mostly clean. A piece of pizza sausage was missed under the table. The room was clean and orderly. The shower was hot and had good pressure. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The AC was a bit noisy, but hotel ACs usually are. The screen was pulled away from the frame a bit, so we were wary to leave a window cracked.

Cheap Motel

Posted May 6, 2014
You get what you pay for... Stayed in a non-smoking room that just reeked of cigarettes. Pool was out of service due to a "situation from the night before." The employees were very friendly though and recommended areas to see and bars to visit during our stay.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Staff, improvements on making sure they know how to welcome quests. Didn't like the envelop I found on top of the TV asking for tips.
Location: We went to visit Franklin College. Will not stay at this hotel when we go back.
We arrive at the hotel and they don't even have our reservation. They stated Expedia did not send it to them. Amazingly enough the woman behind the counter who I assumed worked there, (No distinguishing attire or name tag) was able to look up on the computer and find it. I booked 10 days in advance. After he answering numerous phone calls, after 20 minutes I was handed my room key. Hotel was under renovation. The web did not show this. The posted rates were cheaper than what I paid online and the pictures of the hotel were of a closed section of the hotel, The front entrance did not look like what was posted.

Do Not Stay Here

Posted Apr 7, 2014
We went to Indianapolis for the Sweet 16 Games and decided to stay a little ways from Indy to save money and get away from the crowds. Went to check in before the games - the lady was rude and had her kids with her in the lobby. There was a man telling everyone that there was bed bugs and not to stay there. We went to our room to freshen up before going to the game and it was old and musty. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. We decided not to leave anything in the room that if we made it back we would unpack later. After he thought about it awhie, my husband decided that there was no way we were going back to that room. So we ended up spending the night a little farther down the interstate at a very nice room that only costed about $15 more.

Great staff and price

Posted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: The staff was the best.
Cons: The d├ęcor was a little outdated and could be improved.
The cost of the room was the deciding factor. The staff were very helpful and kind. When I encountered a problem with the lock on the door not working, the staff didn't just tell me to try again. One of them came to the room with me and attempted to resolve the problem in person. When that didn't work, they moved us to a different room. Very pleased overall
