"We immediately felt at home in Steve's log cabin. Warm, comfortable and in a fantastic location (in the "wilderness", yet only a mile from Highway 1). Perfect for skiing at Lake Louise and birding along the Columbia wetlands. We absolutely loved our stay!"

"A wonderful cabin in the Rockies. Quiet, nice views, very clean, well maintained. Easy access by bike or car, convenient to Golden 6k away. While small, it's very comfy for a couple with a fine bed, cozy couch, fine shower, and strong wifi. BBQ on the porch and adirondack chairs on the small deck were a plus for evening sunset watching. Tyler and Aimee are great, friendly, accomodating hosts."

"The property and the staff was wonderful. The only issue was we had reserved a cabin with the a loft and we ended up with a two bedroom cabin instead. Asked about being moved, but the cabin was booked. We never understood how we ended up in the cabin without the loft when that was what we had reserved. Other than that, we loved everything about Baker Creek was fabulous."

"Quiet place to get away from it all. No TV, internet is spotty (which keeps you off of it) and trails to walk to the river and look for wildlife. We were there in March 2024 and the snow was melting, the temp was 15 degrees C and the sun was out. I would go again."

"We all loved staying in the Rooster Cabin - I love how it’s at the end of a road and all the windows look out on the woods and fields - it really is a get-away from it all. Loved the comfortable beds and decor and wood burning fire and all the firewood avail for us to use. Thanks so much - we will be back"

"A group of four of us rented this house for a ski trip in nearby Rogers Pass. This was a great house for a group of our four. Spacious, yet still cozy with everything you need for a mountain stay, including a wood stove, back deck and mountain views. Barb was a great host who was easy to contact and super helpful. "We had the opportunity to stay at the new cabin tucked into the woods! It was absolutely perfect! It still has the new house smell when you walk in! The cabin is adorable with modern and cozy finishes. There are giant windows with views of the forrest and the surrounding mountains. The covered deck is a perfect place for morning coffee or evening beverages! The cabin has all the amenities that you could ever ask for. "We found this quaint cabin a great place to relax at the end of the day of visiting Yoho and Banff parks. The setting is enjoyable and we were very comfortable in the well-accommodated space. Golden is a fun little town and we were able to enjoy a summer concert in town and a walk along the river. Thank you for a nice time!"

"Such a great cabin with more space than we thought. The pictures don't do it justice. The beds werent very comfortable so we put the extra duvet on them to try and help. A memory foam or pillow topper would help alot. The fire place in the living room was so nice and the wrap around deck was great for our dogs. No close neighbours made it perfect for the pets. Quick communication with the host. It was lovely"

"The cabin was very cozy set on a beautiful property with mountain views. It was a very short drive to town as well as easy access to three national parks. The host was so helpful with local information as well as allowing us to store our bikes in her shed.
