"Charming lodge with a fantastic hot tub and log burner. The place is nice and warm and private (I think the bushes have grown since the other reviews!). We did reverse our car up to the top of the drive, this blocked off views to the garden. Short walk into Cartmel, Grange isn’t too far either."

There were three lovely ladies at the reception that I did not get the names of, but they made my stay even better with their warm hospitality. The room – I was SO impressed, I had to walk back out again because I thought I was given a key for an upgraded room!! I had booked a double room for myself: the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the refreshments were topped up during a daily room...
