"Luxury value at reasonable room price"
Off the beaten path, this hotel offers luxury and variety without the pretense of the strip. Don't get me wrong: everyone should experience the strip, but I wanted a trip with more solitude and quiet. My room was exceptionally quiet. I was on the 12th floor and had a stunning view of the strip with some mountains in the background. It was so quiet that I was walking to my room and heard an extremely loud party coming from a room down the hall. I entered my room and as soon as I closed the door, it was still quiet. The casino is vast with a lot of choices, the restaurants are a bit pricey but good quality. I recommend the Grand Cafe for a more moderate price with good quality food. I enjoyed Noodle 8 as well. Join the rewards program as soon as you arrive and use it for everything to gain redeemable points. Great experience, except for the spa. See below for more on that. If VIP is offered through Expedia, take it. I enjoyed the extra amenities. The pool was empty when I was there (so I assume it was not heated) and from my understanding, it is closed at 4 pm in the winter. The movie theater was big, comfortable and fairly empty. It is super convenient right at the edge of the casino. I spent most of my gaming playing slots with some roulette, keno and bingo. I highly recommend bingo with the electronic machines, not paper. It was fun and easy to take in all the action without the distraction of trying to mark off all the numbers.

"Nice Hotel, but a little far from the strip"
I and my wife had a great stay at Palms Place. It is a little far from the strip, but the hotel is good, and you always have the option to take a cab.

"Sanity in Las Vegas"
Was in Las Vegas for a conference and so glad I chose this hotel. It is a non smoking, non casino hotel just off the strip, The member if staff who checked us in (Nyree) was brilliant and our room was clean, well appointed and had a lovely view. Our room was kept clean and the maid kept out water and coffee supplies topped up, Not being a casino hotel meant you could return to a calm environment after a busy day and yet be near enough to enjoy the nightlife in the evening. Check out was dealt with equally efficiently.

"The hotel is very convenient. The service is great"
The only irritating thing was the train noise. I got woke up at 0630hrs by a train horn. In the evening I heard the horn 4 times in one hour. One suggestion, don't get a room face to the north. Otherwise, I thought the bellmen, car valet, front desk people, waiter in the restaurant were all very friendly and accommodating. The valet was very fast and was perfect for getting in and out of the hotel.

Vegas isn’t just a playground for adults. There’s an assortment of Las Vegas family-friendly resorts that provide entertainment for you and your crew. Choose a place that boasts swimming pools and lazy rivers, or one that offers kid-friendly magic shows and music performances. Some include arcade rooms, thrill rides, and aquariums, too. You’ll even come across places with childcare services, so you can fly solo and paint the town red for a few hours.

Don’t take a gamble when it comes to booking your reservations. Take advantage of our Las Vegas resort deals, so you can focus more on your Sin City itinerary and less on your travel budget.

Best and Worst Times to Visit Las Vegas

Spring and fall are the best times to visit Las Vegas because the weather is just right—not too hot and not too cold. These seasons usually see temperatures hovering around the 70s and 80s F, but the evenings do tend to cool down. There are usually fewer tourists between March and May, and from September to November, which means you can score lower rates during these periods.

Even though the temperatures soar in the summertime, this doesn’t deter vacationers from flocking to the desert city. It’s not uncommon for temperatures to reach the triple digits, making the pool decks the most popular spots in town. Winter is another favorite time for visitors to travel to Vegas, particularly around New Year’s Eve. While it’s not scorching, temperatures can hit the 50s and 60s F, offering a warmer winter retreat.

    Things to Do

Attend some of the city’s most popular performances to see what the hype is all about in the Entertainment Capital of the World. Catch at least one of the eight Cirque du Soleil shows and marvel at twisting and tumbling acrobats that soar through the air. O features a jaw-dropping underwater production, while The Beatles LOVE is choreographed to the famous foursome’s tunes. Jersey Boys, the Blue Man Group, and Criss Angel Believe are other favorite performances in the desert city.

While you’re in this neon-doused town, explore some of the city’s landmarks. Get a kick out of the fountains dancing to the music at the Bellagio®, and throw your hands up on the Big Apple Rollercoaster that winds through the NYC skyline. Fool all your friends with a selfie in front of the Eiffel Tower replica, watch the Mirage® volcano erupt in sync with The Grateful Dead music, and then put your feet up at one of the top Las Vegas hotels or resorts.

This type of lodging bundles your meals and activities into the price of the room.
