CONS: Hotel is undergoing renovations which was not stated on their website or on Expedia. The workers start around 8:00 AM and you can hear everything from drilling to hammering and yelling. The constant noise gave us headaches and forced us out of our room and hotel. We did not get to sleep in ...
We normally stay at the Four Seasons. The Peninsula did not disappoint. Room was much smaller but very clean and comfortable. The location was amazing and the staff were very professional and welcoming. The Spa was a highlight here and very beautiful.
Enjoyed our stay especially as the Waldorf Astoria is closing
Although we had some issues with check in, our stay was exceptional, courteous staff, beautiful room with a patio/terrace with Central Park view on one side and the City in the other. Walking distance to the shops and the Q train is on the corner just a couple of steps away. Recommend the Spa services ...
Every thing about the hotel was just perfect. The location was walking distant to lots of shopping and restaurants. The staff were extremely down to earth and accommodating. The hotel tell was really clean with extremely comfortable beds. I can't wait to stay again.
Hotel was nice and the staff was very helpful. Two small concerns. They cleaned the room every day but I found a pen under our chair after several days. They should have caught this. There was a minor billing issue but it was corrected quickly with one call. It was only two blocks to Central Park, ...
Firstly, location is perfect. Close to Times Square on one end of the block and a quick stroll to Fifth Ave. The staff was lovely and polite. They have extra security upon entry to hotel. The rooms are bright and modern. Well appointed bathrooms. The observation deck was a bonus. Amazing views at ...
Excellent... Arrived 5.30am!!! Michael at reception found a room at 7am as had flown from Sydney and missed connection (not our fault) therefore 33 hours to get here. He couldn't have been more helpful with where to get coffee etc. that early in morning. Room very good. Gym was huge and unbelievable ...
Maybe in Manhattan most hotels are like this old, the Mandarin Oriental in NYC looks and feels much older than MO in other places that we lodged in. Despite the facilities, staff is friendly and restaurant is elegantly clean.
Compares favorably with Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton. Great location near busy Times Square but rooms are dead silent. Newly renovated with old school elegance and charm.
We stayed at The Hotel Benjamin in October 2017 during unseasonably hot weather. We enjoyed an air conditioned one bedroom suite on the fourth floor. Having a kitchenette was ideal as we bought our own breakfast items and could therefore choose where to eat. Lots of local eating establishments are ...
