Decent location with a nice backdrop view. Room decor is a surprise in a good way once you get inside. A decent restaurant to grab some breakfast from. Helpful in planning activities.
We visited Amara on our babymoon and overall had a great experience. Julie, the lady that checked us in was very nice! She sent us a bottle of sparkling cider and some chocolates with card - very
Beautiful property, accomodating and pleasant staff. Parking was a problem because it is a large resort and quite spread out with only a one way street. So getting from place to place was difficult and time consuming.
on Sunday no one came to clean or room or bring fresh towels until 7 pm and only after we contacted front desk. Also our meal at Cress for $300 (just two people) was disappointing
Its too difficult to get from hotel to spa and its not well indicated with signs.

However, because this is one of the most pleasant times of year to rendezvous in the city, rates tend to be higher. Fall is another popular season to visit as the temperatures linger between 70 and 80 degrees F.
While the Sedona summer temperatures aren’t as high as they are in other areas of Arizona at this time, they do hover in the high 90s F for most of June, July, and August. As for the wintertime, temperatures drop to the 50s F, but the desert city doesn’t usually get any snowfall. If you don’t mind the cooler weather, visit during this season and you’ll score some of the lowest rates.
