The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Scottsdale and just a few minutes from everything including the PHX airport. The staff was professional, courteous and went above and beyond for us. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our trip an extra day!
I can't say anything bad about our experience. It is a great place to stay. Hotel is beautiful and quaint. Lots of history. Very clean, great food, great spa and pool. Staff was friendly and couldn't have been more accommodating. I highly recommend Camelback Inn.
This was may fourth stay, at this resort and I always enjoy the facilities and surrounding area. If, you want to be close to the airport or major attractions, this is not the place for you. If, you are looking for a relaxing vacation with plenty of restaurants and shopping, within a short drive, ...
The room was great and the pool area and activities were great. Lots of good dinning nearby. The only draw back is no on site dinning or cafe. There is also a huge cricket problem. But we did really enjoy our stay and the bed was amazingly comfortable.
My family and I selected this property last minute. I didn't want to drive all the way to the Grand Canyon and decided to break up the drive by stopping in Scottsdale. I must say that we were truly impressed with the hotel, staff, rooms and pool. Everyone was very accommodating. On the day of departure ...
Visited with my husband and sons - 9 & 12. Room was smaller than expected and the iron gates outside were really loud when someone would come thru them which was annoying. The A/C also sounded like it was gonna fall apart every time it turned off. Hotel could use some updating in general but great ...
First time at this hotel so we weren't sure what to expect but it blew us away. Best hotel experience of my life. The check-in was the fastest I've ever experienced and the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly. It was Labor Day weekend and they had tons of activities planned each day. Our ...

Wrap this up with a delightful, hospitable staff and you have a true escape from the "everydays!" This hotel is ...
We had a great 4 day weekend. This is a beautiful location with private units that is close enough to enjoy all of the amenities in Scottsdale and Phoenix. The spa is spectacular, and the views throughout the resort are amazing. We will definitely return to stay here again!
Took a long weekend trip from Minnesota to a warm place. Other reviews describe what happens during high peak times, ours was mid September. Perfect! There were minimal kids/families there. The water park was enjoyable and not packed. The lazy river and slides ran simultaneously. You didn't have ...
Great facility, very clean and beautiful grounds. Staff was pleasant and helpful when ever called upon. Very comfortable room and housekeeping did a great job cleaning our room daily. Would stay again for sure.
We had booked this hotel for a girl's weekend and it was everything we wanted. From check-in we were greeted with smiles. They even sent up a gift for us in our room! Everyone we interacted with was fantastic and met our every need. We are already planning coming back next year!
Stayed for 4 nights with my hubby on a "no kid" getaway. Spa, golf, front desk and concierge staff all excellent. Visited their "vacation club" presentation and bought into it...no pressure sales and Robert was great at taking us through the whole program and getting us to our plane on time. Adult ...

Phoenix is located in the desert, where you’ll find dry, desert heat all year round. If you’re in the mood for comfortable temperatures ranging between 70 and 80 degrees F, consider visiting from November to April. Often called the snowbird season, this time of year attracts vacationers looking to bask in the warm weather during the winter months. Due to the comfortable temperatures and increase in visitors, rates tend to be higher during these months.
Looking to turn up the heat? Visit between May and October. Summer temperatures spike to 100 degrees F, which can be borderline uncomfortable, unless you’re hanging around the pool. Toward the tail-end of the summer, monsoon season rolls in, which can bring moisture and humidity. If you don’t mind the scorching temperatures and a little rain, you’ll find cheaper rates during these months, especially from June to August.
Get out and about and explore the scenery in Phoenix during your stay. Lace up your hiking boots and hit the Sunrise Trail at McDowell Mountains, or saunter around the cacti displays at the Desert Botanical Gardens. The Japanese Friendship Garden is another serene spot, while the Pueblo Grande Museum and Cultural Park offers insight into the ancient Hohokam culture.
During your stay, beat the heat and spend the day indoors exploring Phoenix’s many museums. Discover Native American artifacts at the Heard Museum, and check out the masterpieces by Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera at the Phoenix Museum of Art. If your kids are vacationing with you, treat them to a day at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, or venture over to the Arizona Science Center, where they’ll love the hands-on exhibits and planetarium. After spending the day frolicking around the capital city, retreat to one of the best Phoenix resorts in town.
