It's nice to have different temperature pools to dip in. The big swimming pool is also warm so that when we jump in, we don't have to suck in our breath because of the cold water. Overall, it was a relaxing time for us. We didn't use the Capri Restaurant because of the pricing. We ate out or brought in food for our meals.

"Quaint hotel centrally located in Downtown Spring."
I received a warm reception upon arrival. The hotel grounds are nice. The hotel representative helped me with my bags and gave me a "tour" of my room. The room was quaint and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. The pool area was nice and clean. Concerns: They have a very antiquated management system. I actually had to sign and initial a contract agreeing to follow specified "rules and expectations." The paperwork was very dated. When I ordered a drink at the pool "bar" I paid cash and when I asked for a receipt the "bartender" told me that they don't give a receipt at the bar, it would be printed on my bill upon checkout. I told him that I wanted a receipt and he became rude, telling me that he did not have to give me a receipt. I asked for the small tear off portion of the old fashioned receipt book that he used to record my purchase. He appeared upset and hostile. I told him that at other hotels they provide receipts for purchases. He told me that they do not have an updated system for that. When I checked out, I received a partially legible, old fashioned looking print out of my bill. Bottomline, the Andreas Hotel needs to update their management and commerce systems to at least the 20th century, but really it needs to be updated to the current 21st Century. They are not the Royal Palms anymore, time has moved on, society and technology has evolved dramatically.

They had table and chairs put right out side our room. And other guests hanging around at night they were very loud. Staff should know this before causing inconvenience . And seem from door there is opening below and on top. Last day when we were leaving saw spider on bed sheet . Staff should check if bathrooms need maintenance before new guest comes in. Door lock screws was very loose had tell them first day 2nd day they took care of it

"Go To Hotel for Palm Springs and Surrounding area"
This was our second stay at Indian Wells Resort Hotel. It is the best bang for your buck. We've stayed at many others and this is by far our favorite. It's affordability + character + cleanliness = awesome :) Parking is easy, staff is wonderful, breakfast is good, entertainment is nice, rooms are spacious, safe location, beds are comfy. It isn't extravagant, but I would hands down much rather spend a little more to stay here than pay a little less for motel 6. Do you really need to know much more? Book it.

Best and Worst Times to Visit Palm Springs

The summertime is the least popular time to visit this desert destination, unless you don’t mind sweltering temperatures in the triple digits. While the 100+ degrees F weather may deter some, if you do decide to visit during this time, stay somewhere with a pool and air conditioning.

The best time to visit Palm Springs is between January and May, when the days are warm and the nights are cool. Daytime temperatures are usually comfortable around the 70s and 80s F, which as a result, attract hordes of vacationers looking to escape winter weather. Post-summer season, from October to December, is another pleasant time to vacation here. Temperatures range from the high 60s to the low 90s F. Rates are also slightly cheaper during this time because it’s before the winter rush.

    Things to Do

Brave the heat and explore the great outdoors during your romp in Palm Springs. Embark on the Palm Canyon Trail to the Stone Palms in the Palm Springs Canyon. This hike boasts the juxtaposition of dry desert scenery and rushing waterfalls. For an easy stroll, check out the Tahquitz Canyon trail, and for more challenging terrain, hit the Skyline Train. During your stay, mosey through the Moorten Botanical Garden, and don’t miss the panoramic views from the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.

If you’d prefer to avoid the desert temperatures, spend an afternoon exploring the indoor museums. Linger around the exhibits at the Palm Springs Art Museum and examine the WWII aircraft at the Palm Springs Air Museum. While you’re in town, catch a quirky production of The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies or treat yourself to some retail therapy at the Palm Springs Outlets. However you decide to spend your desert vacation, rest up at one of the top Palm Springs resorts in town.
