Location was great and we loved the restaurant. The staff was very accomodating. I needed to check in early to get ready for my wedding and they were able to hold a room for me. Everyone was very nice...especially the bell man. My only wish was that the rooms were bigger.

Only negative was the king size bed and pillows we had were extremely firm and cause neck soreness for both my wife and I the next day. BUT the message helped that! :)

"Almost a 5 Star"
Several wks in adv. I made a resv. for us and our gchildren to spend a long weekend. Made the reserv. on Expedia for obvious reasons. I added a comment for a high room and paid for the largest corner suite the hotel offers and of course, non smoking. When we arrived we were put in a suite on the 4th, of 14, floors....we weren't happy about that but, OK, we'll take it. When we walked in the room was so smoky we thought the smoker had just left the room. Upon calling the dest we were told to only other room available was one floor down, we went to check it out only to find it had NO balcony and felt like a tomb. Our wonderful bellman, Patrick, who was as frustrated as we were, was kind and offered up the MOD's name. When we got in touch with him he first told us that....well, when you book on an external site, you don't always get what you request. After a few minutes of conversation he was able to come up with a room on the 6th floor that was a late check out and would take 10 to 15 minutes to clean. Absolutely agreeable to us. 30 minutes later we had still NOT had a call back from the front desk, we called down to find out the room was ready. Sweet Patrick came up with our luggage and c'ked into a perfect corner sute with a view. Room was great, kids had a good time lounging on the sofa bed and watching tv in-between swims, skydiving and indoor kart races. Hotel stepped up and gave us top floor access for free drinks and goodies. Thank E/S.

"Beautiful Hotel"
Hotel was amazing as far as look, feel, and staff. The staff goes way above and beyond to make you feel like a king! The only gripe I have is the room stayed hot most of the night.. Even after I adjuster the air it was still hot and with very quiet a/c it was hard to sleep as you hear everything that goes on in the hotel.. Would have been nice to have a fan or some sort of noise..

"Nice hotel, good location, 9 mi from DFW"
We had a nice, one-night stay at the Hilton DFW Lakes in October 2015. We booked the room through Expedia and it came with two drink tickets and continental breakfast. The hotel didn't have those notes in their system, but I had printed my confirmation page, which stated what the room came with, so they corrected the reservation right away and delivered our drink tickets and keys into the Executive Suite for the breakfast within an hour of our arrival. The room was very nice and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel is about 9 mi from DFW with two gas station options along the route to fill up the rental car. Would stay here again.
