Super 8 Harrisburg Hershey Area

If you are a small business owner that needs to be in the area for work, or just looking for a reasonable place to stay this is a good choice. The hotel has some wear but its clean and well kept. Everything in the room functioned great, and the fridge/coffee maker were a nice perk at this price. Staff was helpful and polite. The breakfast is serviceable if you don't feel like the added expense of eating out. Cereal, toast, danish and coffee will get the job done. If you're looking to feel like you got every bit of your dollar this is a great choice.

A little unkempt, but acceptable as a value option. The breakfast was comically underwhelming.

Stayed three nights. Front desk staff were pleasant and welcoming. Corridor and room smelled totally clean, but room was not vacuumed into the corners and had mildew on several wood surfaces. Bathroom was clean. Room was very quiet and peaceful and the bed was comfortable. Saw the big Super 8 sign right away but had a hard time finding our way to it--streets and roads look straight-forward on the map but are not well signed on the ground. (Chambers Hill Road bridges over but does not intersect Eisenhower Avenue, and one has to take an unmarked connector to reach it from the north--simple enough once you catch on, but frustrating the first time around.) Breakfast was adequate. Definitely a no-frills place, but it did the job and the price was attractive.

The room was fine, the breakfast was adequate, and the staff was helpful with all our needs.

The lobby had an awful smell. The room was adequate and comfortable. The continental breakfast had little to choose from, and the odor from the lobby didn't encourage eating. The employee that was working the front desk was nice, but wore a dirty t-shirt and jeans. It was not very inviting and made me want too pay the extra $40.00 and go to a hotel up the street. Nevertheless, we stayed and left early the next morning.

the towels and bath tub were dirty the lights in the room did not work k had people tha helped me carry things to the room as soon as i steppedin the room the phne rings and it as the front desk questiopning me about the the people that were helping me basically harrassing me as if i was unable tohave company come visit and help i felt very upset that i couldnt enjoy my stay without being questioned about what i do in my room which i paid for i should be able tohave visitors without being harrassed i was very uncomfortable i wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy i wish i could get my money back it was not worth me paying for a place where i was suppose to enjoy it ruined my whole vacation

My friend and I stayed at the hotel for two nights. We had her 8-month-old daughter with us. The staff was friendlyband accomodating. They had a pack-n-play at our room before we even unloaded our luggage. Having a refrigerator in the room was helpful. Everything (lightbulbs, bathroom fans, etc.) was in working order. The wi-fi was the fastest I have used in a hotel room. Great stay. I would certainly stay there again.

This hotel was somewhat shabby.

Upon arrival to our room, we discovered that the toilet was not functioning properly...we called the front desk & were given another room immediately! Staff was very friendly & helpful. Continental breakfast was fresh & coffee excellent! Would definitely stay again!
