Close to Waterloo station,Thames and london eye

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Good airconditioning, good location, excellent breakfast
Cons: Train staff to be quite in hallways CLEAN tables and chairs in dining area after each use
Room was good, breakfast was excellent although when staff brushes very visible crumbs off seat when you are seated and then there are more crumbs on table it was not leave a good impression, not just one time but each morning. A bus tour went through one day we were there and hotel staff was picking up suitcases before 7:30 a.m. And it sounded like they were coming in from an all night drunk. Staff in General were off putting.

Summer hell

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Interior is ok as well as their breakfast
Cons: Air conditioning!!!
Location: Close to Waterloo station. Apart of it nothing exceptional.
We arrived at the hotel late in the evening and were given a tiny room with two separate beds standing not very close one to another. It was supposed to be a "double bed". Spoke to reception and they upgraded us to "deluxe" room which was a little bit bigger and the bed was of the right size and configuration BUT even though the aircon was on there was literally no air in the room let alone cool air. We were told by reception it was a very hot day in London hence the temperature in the room. I suspect they just save on their aircon expenses. It was hell of night and their relatively good breakfast didn't compensate us for it. As to the location it's about 30 min walk from Trafalgar square and Covent Garden but the area itself is not chick or interesting by any means.

Great hotel handy for the South Bank

We've stayed at H10 a couple of times now. The rooms are spotless and comfortable and have reasonable views. The complementary glass of cava on arrival is a nice touch. The hotel is well placed for evenings out.

Fab hotel in great position near Southbank

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Hotel and room were very clean and modern with good facilities. Glass of cava awaited us on arrival. We had booked a 'city view' room and although high up we were facing southwest which was misleading and disappointing. Great location a short walk from Waterloo station and some nice pubs and restaurants near by. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Excellent quality hotel in quiet location.

Pros: Room. Food. Extras.
Cons: Booking in process. Also do check that the previous occupants haven't taken the toothbrush out of the box and just left it empty.
Location: It's London!!!!
We liked it here. Despite being in London it felt like being abroad. It's a Spanish chain with Spanish speaking staff. Everything was very good once we had checked in. That bit, unfortunately, was poor. The check in staff claimed to have no info about our booking and we had made the mistake of not bringing the appropriate paper. The staff were less than helpful here. Eventually after using one of their terminals to pick up an email and then forward it it them they miraculously found the booking! Room quality very good. Food very good. Nice touches too like chocolates being left in the room, and a fine Nespresso for use. We would definitely stay here again.

Good modern hotel in a quiet area

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Quiet, comfortable room with high standards of cleanliness. Outstandingly good breakfast with a huge choice, all freshly prepared and cooked.
Cons: Bathroom too trendy - clever sliding door but noisy, sleek shower/bath controls but difficult to switch off despite exhortations to conserve water!
Location: Easy walk of about half a mile to Westminster, Waterloo and wide range of sights. Few eating options in immediate surroundings.
H10 is a Spanish hotels group, and this is the only one to date in the UK. It is a 12-storey building on a peninsula site which makes it long and narrow but light and airy. We spent one night (Saturday) and it appeared to be reasonably well occupied but certainly not full. Its location means it is slightly off the beaten track, but was none the worse for that. Check-in and reception is welcoming and efficient, as is check-out. Bar area and restaurant is pleasant if unexceptional. We didn't eat in the evening but the breakfast was as good, if not better, than that provided by any hotel I have ever stayed in before. Our room, on the top floor, was quiet and comfortable with all the facilities, including kettle, you would expect, but inevitably - for central London - it was on the small side. The bathroom had one or two irritating quirks, but nothing of any great problem. Cleanliness, both in the bedroom and, as far as I could see, in public areas was spotless and a credit to the housekeeping staff. Overall, a highly recommendable place to stay for a few days in London.

Comfortable clean hotel close to city centre

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: The staff and the rooms
Cons: Dinner! Main course of steak was disappointing, in appearance and taste. Just a piece of steak and two discs of potato, needed something green with it
Very welcoming staff on the front desk. Complementary drink was a nice gesture.. Room was very clean. Comfortable bed. Well equipped and clean bathroom. Breakfast was very good.
