Ideal location to Hollywood & vine intersectionPosted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: see above.
Cons: don't touch a thing.
Location: You name it. Everything from street performers on Hollywood Blvd, to the Pantages Theater, to Groman's Chinese Theater all with in 5 minute walk.
Wonderful. Staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating to my every want. My out of town guest were very impressed with the entire experience. Food in the hotel restaurant, Cleo, was superb and absolutely grommet quality. Will highly recommend to anyone. Staff smiles were genuine, from the valet to the room maid, to the front desk, to the restaurant greeter. Experience was way above what you normally find in many of today's hotels.

Hollywood good location, but very noisy!!!!Posted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Location, kitchenette
Location: Close to Hollywood walk of fame, at the east end so it is quite a walk to the main things to do in Hollywood.
Although the location was great the hotel was so noisy I didn't get any sleep. Even when the club downstairs closed that just moved all the drunks into the halls who spent the next 2 hours yelling and knocking on doors.

Boutique hotel that oozes stylePosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: The style of this place is so funky, feels very boutique.
Cons: It would be the small things. For the price, I would expect certain things in the room to be included such as water etc.
Location: A little bit of a dodgy walk for a few blocks, but then all fine by Hollywood Boulevard. Right by a nightclub though!
We were very impressed by the Redbury, the place is completely stylish. Also, the bed was the most comfortable we have slept in, and we have stayed in the Savoy! The rooms are huge, and so well put together. Our only complaint would be the maid service was a little odd. If you didn't put the 'make up room' sign on the door, they didn't bother to top up our toiletries, or wash up the two wine glasses we left. All the other staff however were more than helpful. The town car service was really useful to, and included in the price (although they try and sell you so much other stuff in your room, it could be a little too commercial). We also had a room next to a nightclub which was really loud on our first night, but we were so tired it didn't bother us too much!

Great Location, beautiful roomPosted Sep 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a (family of three), 5 night stay at The Redbury, the rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect for getting to all of the major Tourist sites and facilities, we walked to all of these with minimal fuss. The area has seen better days, it is rundown however we never felt unsafe and the people were all friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was that we booked a room for 3 people, my wife, myself and our 16 year old daughter. I received the confirmation of this booking for 3 people yet on arrival we were asked to pay extra per night if we wanted a rollout bed, this was disappointing as we had booked for 3. The major positive was the help, advice and information we received from the Concierge - Joanne - she went out of her way to make us comfortable, informed and provided great advice on activities we could do, thanks Joanne. The issue I mentioned above is only minor, the whole experience at The Redbury was excellent and I recommend it and will stay there again.

An outstanding boutique hotelPosted Aug 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Dropped in on a moment's notice on a weeknight when I needed to stay up in the Burbank area, booking online at Hotels.com, and was delightfully surprised. It was a quiet night and they upgraded me to one of their suites at no extra charge and the room was really cool -- wonderful retro/modern chic and beautifully appointed. Every service person I encountered from the front desk to the parking garage attendant was warm and friendly. Putting aside its convenience to the local Hollywood clubs and tourist haunts, I'd go back to in a second.

Nice vibe but cleanliness a let downPosted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: The record player in the room, the comfy bed, having a kitchenette, the nice helpful staff
Cons: The lack of cleanliness of the room, the darkness of the hallways, the noise.
Location: In a good location; easy access to everything.
We recently stayed at the Redbury for a total of 9 days. We loved the decor of the room and the general vibe of the hotel however there were a number of disappointing aspects to our stay. The microwave did not work and although we mentioned this to the staff, it was never repaired or replaced. Only one gas jet worked on the stove top but luckily there was a second one for us to make use of. The coffee machine in our room had a broken heating element and dispensed cold coffee only. We had to ask the cleaner to sweep our floor and replace our used toiletries because on a number of days we did not receive any. The staff were always very nice and obliging when we requested an extra blanket etc and scales to weigh our luggage. The restaurant Cleos next door is actually run separately to the hotel. We discovered this when we were charged for our breakfast on our bill when it was meant to be included in our first two day stay. This was finally debited from our account but then we were charged for using items from the mini bar which we had not used. It is not worth paying for a continental breakfast through the hotel as the menu is very poor at Cleos. Noise from the night club next door was very loud at times during the night but we slept okay as the bed was very, very comfortable and we were exhausted most nights from walking around LA.
