Staff is not accommodating at all.

Pros: The turntable in the room
Cons: Customer service
Location: Middle of Hollywood, there is everything within walking distance.
As a an Expedia VIP Hotel you think they would be a little more accommodating to their Expedia Silver members. We were suppose to get an automatic room upgrade... we didn't. Room was suppose to be ready at 3, it wasn't available until 5. When we checked out we asked if we could check out at 1 instead of 12, I was told their late check out is 12:30 so if I stayed until 1 they would charge me. This is a prime example of hotels being out of touch with their clients. It is alright for us to wait several hours because the hotel room isn't ready, but 30 minutes extra check out time is too much to ask. I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, but this will be my last.

Beautiful "Old Hollywood" Hotel

Pros: The décor of the room was very charming with rich details, antiques and Hollywood "glamour". Shower was awesome and HUGE (and fun) too!
Cons: The people who work here are a bit on the "snooty" side and if you're not a glamorous type person, they tend to ignore you.
Location: It's in the middle of Hollywood - you can do everything.
We actually rented this hotel room suite for a small, intimate wedding with friends. The room had a wonderful view of Capitol Records and Hollywood/Vine intersection which made for some great pictures. The room was huge with a small kitchen so we were able to serve light snacks and cake to everyone. There was plenty of room for the ceremony against the windows and it was a perfect evening!

N0T Treated like a Star..

We have been receiving Redbury email for over a year and were very excited stay in area in first leg of a vacation. Unfortunately we had a family issue and had to postpone the trip for a week. We were able to alter flights and multiple hotels, but Redbury was unsympathetic and manager Pearla Could not do anything for us. I asked to pay the difference of the price of the 2 nights that were prepayed through a 3rd party. She was not willing to give us a 100 credit or even a couple of drink vouchers. Zilch. We were out over $500. Very poor customer service in an area that has dozens of hotels, obviously they do not value the business. They will not get a Star' from us !

Stylish hotel with all the bells and whistles

Pros: Decor, record player
We only stayed one night but were pleasantly surprised with the style and friendliness of the staff. One of the hostesses at their restaurant Cleo was not very attentive and our waiter was pretty slow and inattentive but overall, everyone else was fantastic. The parking was $39/night which was pretty steep but overall we digged the decor, the record player and the service.

Beautiful and right in the middle of it all

For my first time in LA and Hollywood this hotel was a great experience. From the moment we arrived they we so accommodating and friendly. We arrived early and were still able to check in. The girls at the front desk were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The decor and ambiance was stunning. The old retro (trying to find a better word but cannot at the moment) decor was stunning and our room was extremely clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the Hollywood sign and Captial records from our room. The Valet men were very attentive and helpful as well. Everyone here made the trip extremely relaxing and enjoyable. I will be sure to stay here again when I return to LA.

Cool room with entertaining view

A Beastie Boys album and a record player greeted us after long hours of travel. The design was fun and the kitchen especially cool. Hot and gigantic walk-in shower and a balcony with a view of Capitol Records to one side (including a mural of Bill Clinton jamming sax with some of the greats) and a view of the always hopping 17th and Vine below.

Feel like a Rockstar in Hollywood

Pros: The enormous rooms, friendly staff and especially the house car
Cons: The club next door gets loud, which they warned me about, but it would help if there was some sort of acoustic seal on the windows (like on the door).
Location: Hollywood Blvd is 10 steps away; Griffith Park and Runyon Canyon are great places to hike and are close enough for the house car to drive you there
Where do I even start? The rooms are enormous, fully equipped suites with gorgeous decor. The staff is so amazing and friendly that I would go back just to hang out with them. The restaurants associated with the hotel (Katsuya and Cleo) were absolutely delicious. The best part, however, is the car service. The house car, a luxurious BMW 7 series, can take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius, saving you so much money on Ubers or Lyfts. *Word of warning: This hotel is not for kids or anyone with a 10 'o clock bedtime. The club next door can get pretty loud and let's face it, in a place like this you should be partying like a rockstar.

The problem about the room was the tile in the kitchen. It was popping up out of the floor. One night getting a glass of water I tripped on it. Other thatn that the hotel was enjoyable and excellent staff.

What a unique room. I loved the layout and the large shower. Hollywood has a fresh new face and this hotel will place a smile on any traveling couples faces. Great location, options to stay in and cook or have a night on the town. Book a room next time your in town or, as I did, when you need electricity on Oscar night, in your own home town.

Beautiful hotel

Great hotel. I stayed in the Highland suite and loved the comfort and big size of the room. Loved the big size shower. Very comfortable king size bed. Very clean. Only dislike was that the balcony faces a another building and you see garbage bins. All Highland suites face the building. Get a suite that faces the courtyard. You don't get much natural light in the Highland suite. Also there's a club next door so it can be loud. I still would recommend this hotel as it is very beautiful. Staff was great and very pleasant.
