"Peace & quiet abound here. Lots of birds. Saw hummingbirds at the flowerpot in front of cabin. A little dust from traffic on the dirt road buy not obnoxious. Wonderful front porch for relaxing in the evening or coffee in the morning in rocking chairs. Fire pit and screened porch in back, bbq grill and picnic table under a roof was a nice touch. "This stay was odd because 4 of 6 had to cancel so my wife and I had this amazing place to ourselves. It was cool when we arrived but the furnace warmed the place up pretty quick. My only comment was that there was no remote for the gas fireplace which would have been nice. The hot tub was primed and ready but (long story) due to illness we did not use it. The primary suite bed was great and the on suite really nice. We would come back for a fall getaway sometime."

"We celebrated my 40th here and had such a great time. The house is beautiful and clean. The main room with the kitchen is such a knock out as well. We would recommend this to anyone who wants their own little getaway from it all."

"Beautiful property and cabin. It had everything a person could want. Note however, purchase food supplies before 8 pm. Both Rosebud and Gerald pretty much shut down at 8. We found Laurel Depot for carry-out dinner and the food was terrific."

"We stayed for a week and had friends and family members coming in and out as we prepared for our son’s wedding. It was a very wonderful time and the house was perfect for our large group. It was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. The amenities were nice, especially the large garage/game room, and the trampoline was fun as well. We would definitely stay again. Communication with the host was top-notch and we felt very welcomed!"

"The coat rack inside the front t door needs to be a bit beefier, and better lighting down the stairs to the hot tub - maybe some kind of light/lantern at the hot tub as well - we had to use our cell phone lights"
