"We very much enjoyed our stay the place was very interesting and had a lot of character. That said I did not realize the bathroom was downstairs and both bedrooms upstairs. I might be a good idea to make the 3rd small bedroom a bathroom instead. I think that would appeal more to smal families or a pair of couples. Overall it was a decent value. There were a couple of small issues that I had such as: no washcloths, very limited kitchen utensils such as wooden spoons not much in the way of chairs...

"Everything was accurate to the listing. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, the furniture was nice. One thing I'd recommend people looking to come here are aware of, is that the house is not easily accessible by sedans or small cars. The road up the mountain to the house is extremely steep, and two of the smaller sedans we brought had a very rough time up, to the point where we had to have some people get out of the car to make it up. "This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend."

"We came to the area on a road trip from Ontario, Canada to see The Pretty Place and do some hiking. This is a great location for all of that. Everything is relatively close by. You can sit on the deck in the early morning and early evening and watch the deer that came out everyday. We will definitely consider this place again and would highly recommend to anyone"

Would suggest a few blinds on windows in main living area as homes are close together and did not feel comfortable for privacy purposes. No soap for bathing or dishwashing items where available upon arrival. Just went to store to purchase. Shower stopped working in 2nd bathroom but tub was available. Did not call maintenance for this. Had problems getting temperature comfortable due to high tec thermostat....

The weight room was nice and had everything I needed to get my workouts in. Also, one of the nicest seating areas for breakfast and evening wine and cheese tasting.
