"These cabins are perfect for a long weekend stay. They are very clean and comfortable! Everything you would need is there. The owner lives across the street and came over to great us while he was mowing the lawn. He gave us a tour of the property! You will have access to the lake and a large pavilion if you can walk down the many stairs to the lake. The fire pit is huge with lots of chairs. There was lots of wood, paper and matches to get it going."

Two of us had stayed here before, and we were pleased, but not surprised, to have the same wonderful experience as last time. "Absolutely beautiful location 20 minutes out of Ithaca. Duane was extremely hospitable and friendly throughout our entire stay. We stayed at the Honey Suckle and was very clean and comfortable. They also had heated blankets for when it gets a little bit colder in the year, though I would recommend bringing an extra or 2 blanket if you have a party of 4. "This was a very lovely property. There were a few little cabins and tents spread out on the grassy area in the woods. It was very quiet, and we still felt like we had our own privacy. The composting toilet and shower house was very well maintained, we didn’t feel uncomfortable using any of it. "Eshay’s cabin in the midst of Hammond State Forest was perfect for our anniversary getaway. It had all the amenities we wanted, along with a rustic vibe which we loved. The front porch was delightful with the morning sunrise and the evening moonrise, plus sweeping views of the forested mountains. It is a very peaceful setting with no traffic or people noise, only birds singing and the rustling of tree leaves in the breeze.
