Excellent, our 9 trip in paradis

Posted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: Same quality year after year
Cons: Menu at Lemon Grass , new chef, should bring more Asian flavor and spices.
Location: We just stayed on the resort
This was our 9 trip at this resort, and it was again excellent. Same quality all over the place. Room was ready, beautiful view of the ocean, nice and clean. We spent a lot of time on the tennis courts and Brent and Norson were very good instructors. Loved the bar on the beach, they remembered our favorite drinks from last year. Beach was large, clean, well maintained. Loved the bonfire and the Valentine's party. Will be back next year!

Couples Swept Away (all-inclusive)

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Good food.
Cons: Update and improve the lighting in public restrooms. Renovate pools and surrounding areas. Heat the pools.
It was overall a good experience, but for the price, I've been to nicer all-inclusive resorts.

Great beach, great food, great staff

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Beach, food, staff
We just returned from another great week at swept away(our third time). The staff gos out of their way to make you feel welcome and keep the resort looking nice. The food was top notch and maybe the best we've ever had at any resort, the variety and selection is unbelievable. If you are a beach person this is the place to go.

Spectacular beach, excellent activities!

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Tennis, tennis, tennis. The best! Great pros, daily private lessons, clinics, round robins all included, Har-tru and hardcourt. Superb beach.
Cons: Let me stay longer
We loved it! The first time that we've ever repeated a resort and we're already making planes to return. A perfect combination of the beach, food, relaxation if you desire or tons of included activities (tennis, gym, watersports, scuba, golf, etc), friendly staff, visible and attentive management. Tons of repeat visitors....I think that says it all.

The star attraction at this property is the beach!

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: Pretty much everything. The vibe is pretty chill. If you need to relax, and let your mind go blank, this is the perfect spot for that!
Cons: Feathers restaurant is nice, and food is good, however, its too couped up. When I go to the islands, I want to dine al fresco!
Location: Ride from airport is not as bad as reported by others. About 80 - 90 minutes. Not sure what's nearby, cuz only left resort to take the catamaran tou
We didn't know what to expect, and to avoid disappointment, we went with moderate expectations. At every turn, we were pleased and impressed. Our room was lovely, with a large and comfortable veranda. Furnishings, linens, amenities, etc., were all new, clean and functional. Room fridge was always stocked with bottled water, coke, or whatever you want! The beach is tremendous, and much larger than the other resorts just down the way. Food was very good. The reggae beach party is not to be missed! The biggest surprise was the sports complex accross the street; that was like a Scottsdale resort. Tennis, gym, spinning, spa, fabulous 25m lap pool. And instruction was included at no additional cost; hit with tennis pro for no cost, unbelievable! In fact, this had to be the most "all inclusive" resort we've ever visited. No tipping, etc. The only things we paid for were spa treatments and photos.

Nice All Inclusive Resort on the 7 Mile Beach

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location and plenty of activities to participate in, if you wish. Friendly and accommodating staff.
Cons: Better attention to little details; eg: restocking bathroom necessities and wiping the bar down between customers. Better chairs resort wide.
Location: The location is far from the airport. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and it took us over 2.5 hours from the airport to the resort (Usually 1.5 hrs)
Beautiful All Inclusive Resort with plenty to do. The Caribbean water and beaches are spectacular. There are plenty of water sports available and the staff provides instruction in the event you don't have experience (e.g. scuba diving, catamaran sailing, wind surfing). The Catamaran trip and the snorkeling trip are must do's. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Want a break from the beach? The tennis facilities are great. There are instructors to teach you the game of tennis and round robin tournaments to join if you wish. So much more available too; spa, racketball, squash, just to name a few. The rooms are comfortable but rustic, but that adds to the charm of the resort. Our room did not have a television, but many do. If you want a TV, be sure to ask for a room with one. Many guests are repeat visitors, with some that have been there more than 25 times! The food is excellent and a nice variety; there are 6 places to eat, open at various times. There are numerous bars throughout the resort, but only one selection of beer (Red Stripe, brewed in Jamaica). There are various wine varieties (Cabernet, Merlot, White, Chardonnay, Champagne) but only one type of each wine. The beach lounges all had cushions which you could float on in the water - great feature! Other seating, however (restaurants and bars) were not very comfortable.

Not what we expected

Posted Feb 5, 2015
Rooms need to be updated. Hot tubs weren't open or were cold at least half the time. Need more activities for entertainment from 8-11 p.m. We were looking for more of a party atmosphere (should have gone to Sandals) and Couples was an older crowd. The food was wonderful and the beach was beautiful. Sports Complex was great.

Beautiful beach but the nightlife is boring.

Posted Jan 31, 2015
Pros: The beach and food was good.
Cons: The rooms were nothing special and could use some updating.
Overall the facility was nice and the beach was great. There was not much to do at night. They had a piano bar, but that was the same thing every night. The nightclub started after the piano bar stopped, and it made the night club pretty boring. Overall nice place, but if you are looking to party at night try somewhere else. I would call it an older group of people with the majority over 50.
