“The ocean and beach are beautiful!!! But service very poor! I never couldn’t find the beach towels! But, if you give some money, they can easily find it and bring it to you! Everything like 2,5 stars hotel! I AM NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!”

“The workers at this resort will make sure your stay is perfect, beautiful place all around.”

“This resort recently reopened and I am assuming my frustration is mostly due to staff confusion. We did not have "diamond club" status, so we did not have a butler. We received conflicting information from the front desk, Expedia liason and workers at the various restaurants about how to book dinners at the non-buffet restaurants. The Royalton app never worked for us to book anything (spa or restaurants). We did manage to eat at Zen Tepanyaki, Hunter Steakhouse, Grazie and with the help of……

“From start to finish my stay was excellent. The team at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure everything was ok. A huge shout out to Sydoney that works by the restaurant she was one of my servers at breakfast time, O'Connor the head chef who went above and beyond and helped my mom, O'Neil, Christopher, and Romaine the bartender. Thanks to everyone who made my stay memorable.”

“I hope I can manage this in 1500 words or less ha ha. First off, the staff at Samsara is incredible! Special shout out to Tina, she's an amazing, vibrant, glowing, happy young lady who make it evident that she loves her job. She is always smiling, friendly and happy. If there is a single member of the staff that made my trip special, it was Tina. Kimmy (Kimeiko I'm sorry if I spelled your name wrong) is a wonderful young lady as well, understanding, helpful, kind and always has a few minutes to……

“The hotel has most memorial beach you can desire, staffs are super friendly but food was not top notch”

“Overall excellent low-key resort with lots of great free activities (sailing, waterskiing, catamaran cruise, snorkeling, diving, bonfire on beach, daily option to go to couples swept-away) and a beautiful beach with plenty of seating. The food at the a la carte restaurants was excellent but the buffet restaurant was just OK and was a little too hot at times. The drinks at the bars were very inconsistent in quality so we tried to stay with the same bartenders where possible. The property was……

“Some equipment is old”

“PICTURES OF PROPERTY ARE DECEIVING!!! Property old and desperately in need of updating/renovation. Air conditioner doesn’t work. Room dank and smelly. Shower heads need cleaning. Bed frame dusty with spiderwebs. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE”

“Excellent service and unforgettable views, beautiful rooms, great food and outdoor amenities. This hotel is 10/10 for me.”

“Absolutely loved my stay and the staff was wonderful”

“My wife and I stayed at the Grand Lido for a week, Sept 15 - 22. We have been there over 15 times in the past. So sorry to learn of the destruction in late Oct 2025 from Hurricane Mellisa. The country and resorts are still getting back to normal. Understanding that our resort was still healing, we gave special leniency to the conditions and service. Our Butler service was excellent! Our room was clean and well stocked. The restaurants were not quite up to par with prior visits, but.... ……

“I love the uniqueness of it. The staff is wonderful even the security also. I enjoy my breakfast very much in the mornings . The only reason I wouldn’t stay again is I’m from nearby and whenever I visit home I tried to stay away from all inclusive because I would like to have my family visit me with ease and that was a little hard for me but thanks to Monique she is so sweet and all the staff also.”

“Everything great! But need to upgrade TVs”

“Beautiful grounds. Room was spacious with great views and comfortable bed.”

“If accommodation is all you need...then this is the place for you. Except for the security personnel on the beach, no one else acknowledges you unless you ask.”
