This hotel is right beside a major metro/RER/train station that will take you directly to all the major sites (Eiffel Tower, Invalides, Palace of Versailles, etc) and easy walking distance to The Louvre and Paris Opera House. Rooms in Paris are smaller than in America in general, so this hotel is no different. It had working A/C, which was very nice after staying in several other French hotels that did not. Clean rooms & helpful staff!
One complaint: Do *not* use their airport shuttle service. We were going to pay something like 65euro to have them pick us up at the airport. After waiting around for 2 hours, it never came. They outsource the service and 'supposedly' our flight on the website was listed as delayed. We called multiple times (difficult to do with no working cell service-- thanks, Verizon.) from the airport's information desk and still never came. Ended up taking a taxi, which only cost 50 euro to get to the hotel anyway. (A little bummed the hotel didn't offer us anything for our trouble over the whole situation, but not sure if that's the norm in France?) Save yourself stress, time, and money and just use a taxi!

I was a solo traveller and the hotel was an absolute delight. Right behind the Moulin Rouge in the red light district. I must say it is not suitable for children and probably not families due to the surroundings and shops. Pigalle metro was a 1 min walk to the end of the road and was right next to a bus stop. The staff was really friendly and accommodating and was willing to lead a helping hand whenever I needed help on the area.

We stayed here for a long weekend break in March and our stay was absolutely faultless. Right from check in to check out our needs were met without hesitation. We had a compact but clean room on the 5th floor which looked out over the main road but it was incredibly quiet. The chocolates and weather reports left on the pillow before turning in were an unexpected but very welcome extra. Our bathroom had just a shower and perhaps after all our walking maybe I could have done with a bath to rest my weary legs but that's certainly just me being picky. The bed was firm and certainly comfy. Staff were polite, courteous and able to deal with our queries quickly. I would certainly stay here again and recommendation for anyone else to stay here too.

Entertainment rules in this district, ranging from the ornate Opéra Garnier to the cabarets and dance halls of Pigalle. The Grands Boulevards curve along its southern boundaries, flanked by famous department stores, international banks and the Drouot auction houses. Paris-Story and the Musée Grévin are popular visitor attractions. Montmartre and the Louvre museum lie within easy reach.
