Too much price for this motel

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Rooms are small and in poor condition. It is actually a roadside motel. The free breakfast is only a joke with some muffins and coffee. We had to move out even though we had to pay extra for a day as we could not stay in this place at all. I would not recommend it at all!!!

Very Nice, Cozy

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: The room was very modern.
Cons: The non-smoking rooms were scattered around the hotel. Maybe make one side smoking & one side non.
Location: Not the best for tourist because it's nestled in a neighborhood. Amenities are relatively close. About 15 minute drive. Definitely longer on Public.
The hotel is nice. It's a little small & parking is a tad bit ridiculous. The desk manager at night seemed confused about what he was supposed to be doing when I checked in also. The room was very nice, spacious and clean. If there was a phone in my room it would have been better.

Unsafe area, awful experience/would not recommend

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Tear down and rebuild with updated locks, window locks, sound proofing, etc.
Location: Old area
Noisy street noise all night long -- car alarms were going off throughout the night, couldn't sleep. Did not feel safe at this hotel. Originally booked a 3 day stay -- arrrived to check in at 4:08pm, took one look at the room and decided to just stay the night and cancel the other 2 nights. We were told that we had to pay for 2 nights because cancellation time is 4:00 and it was 4:08.

Not worth the money.

Posted Aug 6, 2014
We paid 343.00 0f which $80 went to Expedia. When we pulled out the sofa bed there was limited floor space. The sofa bed had blankets and spreads tucked under the mattress pad which did not make the bed more comfortable!! Overall, it wasn't worth the money!!

Disappointing

Posted Jul 25, 2014
This motel it not a suite at all. I blamed Expedia for not doing nothing about it, when I booked with Expedia the motel lied about the amenities. They do not had telephone in the room, they do not have 24 hour front desk. I went to the front desk and the door was locked, I knocked at the door but they never opened. I did park my car on the street because the parking is very limited. The free breakfast be ready for coffee, juice and old mini muffin that they had in a small table in front of the counter of the front desk. The staff was not very friendly at all. In other words I will never stay again in this motel.

Location: Awkward location. Close to airport and Hwy 8.
The room was $200 a night. No pool, no parking, no amenities.

Not Enough Parking Space

Posted Jul 19, 2014
The receptionist was rude, room desk was sticky, carpet was smelly and sticky, the room was suppose to be non-smoking but still smell like chimney. It was too much to handle. When we came back after dinner, there was no parking space left on the premise. Receptionist asked me to find a space on the street. I need at least a space to park my car.

The Point Loma Inn and Suites

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Ice machine was near the room.
Cons: All the things I listed above in the experience box.
Location: Location is ok.
Room was pre paid but they insist on giving them your credit card # for a deposit. It was also the first room I've ever stayed in that did not have a bible. Had to ask for more towels because only 2 shower towels & 2 hand towels were provided. TV reception was bad and didn't have a guide programmed in the menu.. There was no notice in the room that gives you the check out time. The room did not have a telephone. Room was over priced because of all the things it lacked. I won't stay there again nor would I recommend to anyone.
