Disappointing

Posted Jul 25, 2014
This motel it not a suite at all. I blamed Expedia for not doing nothing about it, when I booked with Expedia the motel lied about the amenities. They do not had telephone in the room, they do not have 24 hour front desk. I went to the front desk and the door was locked, I knocked at the door but they never opened. I did park my car on the street because the parking is very limited. The free breakfast be ready for coffee, juice and old mini muffin that they had in a small table in front of the counter of the front desk. The staff was not very friendly at all. In other words I will never stay again in this motel.

Not what I expected

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: The room was updated and very clean.
Cons: The parking situation.
Location: Awkward location. Close to airport and Hwy 8.
The room was $200 a night. No pool, no parking, no amenities.

Not Enough Parking Space

Posted Jul 19, 2014
The receptionist was rude, room desk was sticky, carpet was smelly and sticky, the room was suppose to be non-smoking but still smell like chimney. It was too much to handle. When we came back after dinner, there was no parking space left on the premise. Receptionist asked me to find a space on the street. I need at least a space to park my car.

The Point Loma Inn and Suites

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Ice machine was near the room.
Cons: All the things I listed above in the experience box.
Location: Location is ok.
Room was pre paid but they insist on giving them your credit card # for a deposit. It was also the first room I've ever stayed in that did not have a bible. Had to ask for more towels because only 2 shower towels & 2 hand towels were provided. TV reception was bad and didn't have a guide programmed in the menu.. There was no notice in the room that gives you the check out time. The room did not have a telephone. Room was over priced because of all the things it lacked. I won't stay there again nor would I recommend to anyone.

Pros: Is close to everything the sportfishing docs where I needed to go which was the Maritime Institute and overall it has a very good locale.
Cons: The parking but I don't see where that can be fixed.
Location: It's close by to call types of restaurants like I said sportfishing docs and just about everything in general it has very good location.
I only spent one night there. But I have spent many other times at this hotel it's an adequate hotel. I stayed in one of their new remodeled rooms and it was small but very nice.

Did not realize the hotel was like an apartment! For under $100! Perfect! Parking a little tricky.
