Convenient location relative to Gaslamp and San Diego Convention center but vagrancy and lack of laundry facilities make it sketchy for guests with young kids at times. The former is out of their control of course but the latter can be easily remedied. If you have a fitness center you should have some kind of option for laundry.

Property was very clean inside and outside- there was prompt attention always - very courteous and friendly staff - Restaurant in hotel had great menu options for a family- Prices were greaaat. The hotel was amazing. I would suggest to the staff that before assigning a room, they should ask the guest if they mind a handicap accessible room. I do not appreciate having one I do not like the restrooms and I would have preferred not to have one. I was not asked.
