It was okPosted Jun 7, 2014
if you want a cheap hotel this is it. You get what you pay for. They did not have extra towels, extra pillows. Didnt even want to help you find any either. Told me to wait for the house keeper. So we got our extra towels and pillows from the house keeper the next morning. Then when we checked out the wanted to make sure that we left them in the room. It was our first time ever in Sarasota. I just wish it was a little better. And they could of been more helpful.

Ok for last min optionPosted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: Its right across the street from Publics, and Tacobell..
The place had a bad odor. There was black strands of hair on all of our towels..this was the only hotel close to the beach that had rooms. I wouldn't stay there again honestly :(

The bed was amazing, view was a grocery store .Posted May 7, 2014
The bed was great! View was a grocery store, there wasn't a lot of parking be prepared to walk. The tv went green after day one, Hotel staff offered me a new cable for the tv to install. I wasn't impressed . Upon check out I was asked for my 2nd key ( which I was never given 2 to begin w ) and also for the cable I had to install wo any tools, due to maintenance had left for the evening. The property was well kept and clean but the hall way walls looked dark and dingy, And extremely hot!! The ac in my room didn't blow cold air out very fast it must of taken bout 4-5 hours before it felt or seemed to be cool in the room. The free breakfast that's included was terrible , cold cereal, stale English muffins and sour watered down orange juice. Not my cup of tea. Over all this is an ok place for a night, but not a weeks stay.

Total disappointmentPosted Apr 26, 2014
Pros: It did allow for a place to sleep out of the elements
Cons: They need to upgrade the facility, inside and out. They are offering stays of more than over night, I believe that the rooms should be more like home.
We were thoroughly disappointed with our hotel accommodations. The room felt like being in a cave. We were with the understanding that there would be a kitchenette. There was a very small microwave and mini fridge. The continental breakfast was not what we were anticipating. If there would have been a coffee pot and toaster in the room, we could have done the same. This is not a child friendly hotel. I would not stay again.

Good value, but don't expect anything fancyPosted Apr 6, 2014
I liked the staff overall, the bed was really saggy and small. But for the price, everything else was fine and it was nice to be across the street from a grocery store. Their breakfast area is extremely cramped and would benefit from a bit more spreading out in the lobby.

Outdated - but okayPosted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: It was conveniently located
Cons: Needs updated! The non-smoking rooms should not be located next to the smoking rooms
Location: We went to the beaches and shopping
The hotel is really outdated. It smells badly like cigarette smoke on the first floor where non-smoking rooms are located. When I went to the second floor I didn't smell any smoke in the hallways. Housekeeping did a nice job of cleaning the room everyday and keeping the towels replaced. We were counting on the complimentary breakfast to help us save money. It was a joke! A box of Eggo waffles and a loaf of bread! lol ~~ What is nice is that the Publix grocery store is literally right across the street! So with the little refrigerator and a grill we purchased we were able to make our own meals. It is in a nice central location to the beaches. So if you are looking for an inexpensive place to lay your head this is perfect for you!

Don's stay therePosted Mar 24, 2014
Cons: Get up to date with bed options.
Location: Nothing to recommend
The reservation was for a Queen bed as the hotel doesn't have King beds. But they don't even have Queen beds. We were given one double bed for the two of us (I am 6'3" 240lbs) The staff acted like I should have known that they only have double beds.
