"My wife & I loved this cozy little cabin! It was perfect for us. It's over 100 years but you can tell it's been kept with love! We loved the rustic feel and floors. The home was clean and I loved the back porch area. I sat out there for hours just staring at the lake & mountain view. The gas station is in walking distance and there is a dollar general about 3 miles away for a quick store run. Getting to Boone is only a 10 minute drive. But most of time was spent in the cabin and we loved every...

"It was a very nice little spot I did however think that it was further off the road and not as many neighbors but they were very friendly and really nice people and we had just as much privacy as if we didn’t have anyone around us. It was a little pricey for me considering it was only 2 days as small at was but all around I have no complaints I enjoyed my stay"

"Overall this is a great pick. It is very clean, well stocked, and roomy, with a nice spot downstairs for the kids to have their own hangout spot. It has beautiful views and we got some amazing shots of storm clouds rolling over the lower elevations. Linda was also very responsive and accommodating. Overall A+"

"Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!"
