"We loved the cabin and our small dogs loved the fenced yard where they could roam without a lead (they are city dogs and always on a leash when outside). The only disappointment was we could not access the sandbar because the river was above flood stage our entire trip. Was very relaxing to just nag out and read! The kitchen is very well appointed."

"This was one of my favorite VRBO stays. The property was so refreshing. I took several long walks and didn't want to come back to the cabin it was so pleasant. A grocery store is less than 10 minutes away. The cabin was nice too. We enjoyed movies and the provided games. The neighnorhood felt safe and accessible (though I took it slow with my little Prius) but was still defintely out in nature and off the beaten path. "This was the cutest little cabin! We just needed a little getaway for a reading retreat and it was absolutely perfect. The beds are big, comfy kings and the bedrooms were very spacious. A lot of modern tech, like remote control AC and faux fireplace, made it super comfortable, convenient, and aesthetically pleasing. There’s a fire pit out back that we used one night, plus marshmallow roasting tongs. The spiral staircase was a personal favorite! It’s far enough away from town to feel remote but...

"Loved the aesthetic and cleanliness of the place. It really was loud but anywhere near Broughton is going to be that way. The noise was was not a particular problem for us. Parking was down the street which was fine once we realized where and how to use the discount and app. Calling customer to find out about parking was a frustrating experience at night when we got into town…the connection was terrible but we got it resolved quickly. "
