The better Rodeway Inn (Don't stay in Bend, Oregon

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Cons: New carpets and furniture, but Rodeway Inns don't seem to be worried about that.
Very dated with little upkeep. The first of two and the last Rodeway Inn we will stay at.

Close to our meeting

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Close to our meeting place.
Location: not much.
Lady at the desk was a little shy. Building could use a little work here and there.

Good price, but dirty room

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: The staff seemed nice.
Cons: Cleanliness of the rooms and another hot water heater closer to the room.
Location: The location lacks nearby restaurants except for a truck stop and a Thai restaurant-both within walking distance. I would not recommend the Thai.
Staff were OK, but room left a lot to be desired. There were sunflower seed shells under the edge of the bed and the nightstand, the hotel guidebook (the binder with the hotel info) had pages inside that were written on and had cola spilled on them and the bathroom had tub that didn't drain well, the hot water heater was all the way at the other end of the building and took about 5 minutes to warm up, and the shower curtain was slightly moldy. Thank God I brought my own pillow--their pillows were very flat and small. Not a "Do-over."

Good for the price

Bed seemed to be a little tilted/the head was lower than the foot of the bed, but overall slept well and the price was right.

Similar to Motel 6, very basic motel. Beds were comfortable. Very old TV and complicated remote control. Facility was clean, employees were very nice. Cheap toilet paper...small towels but it was conveniently located and we expected a basic motel. Small outdoor pool, but it worked.

Best hotel in area for price range

Posted Jun 23, 2014
This was a cheap room, so I think expectations have to be lowered a bit. Pros: standard breakfast, wifi was good, good parking, helpful staff Cons: no bathtub, wouldn't let us pay/upgrade to two bed room because booked through third party, key cards stopped working 4X over 2 days, breakfast was done at 9 which seems a bit early, 20 minute drive to division avenue in spokane (good shopping area)

Night shift was nice but morning crew was rude. They charged my credit card twice and refused to return one of the payments until i sent them the receipt. I live out of town so its going to take up to 6 weeks to get the refund. Manager wasn't either

Cheap Spokane hotel

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: The price. And there was a functional ice machine.
Cons: Enforce smoking away from building rules. More thorough cleanings of the rooms.
Location: Near freeway.
The clerk was nice enough. Room advertised to have fridge, microwave, hairdryer but missing the microwave and hairdryer. People were smoking under the window to the room so the non-smoking room still got the smoker smell. Burn holes in the comforter. Chairs in the room looked like someone had wiped boogers on them. Walls were just filthy, like someone had sprayed cola on them. Empty used shampoo bottles were still in the shower. Overall, it was the cheapest price in town and right off the freeway but I wanted to wash everything that was in that room when I got home.
