I booked two rooms. We picked up room keys and had a very late night. When we returned at 2 am, we found that the keys to one of the rooms did not work. He went to the front desk but it was closed. There was no one onsite to open the room. The next day we noticed that a phone number is posted for "emergencies" but it was very dark and we did not see it when we went to the front desk at 2 am. I understand that mistakes happen. The reason for the 1 star review is how this mistake was handled by the hotel staff. When I went to the front desk, I was told that the manager had been alerted and that I would receive a call from the manager at noon. Never happened. I've contacted hotel management several times and left voicemail but have not received a call back.

I am not going to lie, the place felt a bit sketchy. The room was dark and the space around it seemed like a lot of long-term renters live there. Smoke coming in through the windows late at night. By the looks of the pictures it would be nice, but it does not seem to be well kept. We stayed for an early flight the next morning. I would not stay again.

We always love staying here. They have kitchenettes and also little offices in the suite so you can have a dedicated space for working. We also like that it’s dog friendly.

We did have a great stay at Stratford Suites. My only issue was that we checked out around 7:30am and there wasn't anyone in the front to check out with. I was uneasy just leaving my card key in the room, but had no other choice. Other than that, a great week in Airway Heights!!
