"Loved the ambience"
A most enjoyable stay. The front desk clerk was so friendly and told me about the history of Glenerin Inn which I am still pondering over and telling others about it.

"Wonderful hotel!"
This was a spot of indulgence for us. Not the type of hotel we would normally stay in but the rates were great out of season and it was perfectly located for an early train the next day (it's right outside Union Station). The staff were really friendly and welcoming. They actually seemed like they enjoyed their jobs, which isn't always the case in a hotel. The d├ęcor inside is wonderful. It's the perfect balance of classic grand hotel like you're in an old film, mixed with modern features to keep the hotel feeling up to date at the same time. The room was spacious, comfortable and again tasefully designed. We went for one of the deluxe rooms. Food was also delicious and all the servers were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

"Great hotel, but not for everyone"
This hotel has character... Admittedly it's the character of a 19th Century manor house whose family has fallen on hard times - but compared the the blandness and uniformity of most hotels, it's a welcome change. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff aren't big on friendliness, but that fits perfectly with the English-style architecture.
