Very good !!!! I traveled with my family for 5 nights , room clean and comfortable. Front desk to servers very kind. Breakfast was good as well. Difficult to find park but we used the hotel parking for a price of $27/day. Good location walling distance from supermarkets and some attractions.

Pros: Very nice spacious room. Clean and made you feel like you were at home.
Cons: Better explanation of keycards in the elevators after 10pm. How it is used. Witnessed many confused guests.
Came into Toronto to see a Leafs game. I've stayed in Toronto many times, at various different hotels in the downtown area, and Cambridge Suites was the first hotel that i've EVER stayed at that would only take a credit card at check in for a deposit. Fairmont Royal York/Hotel Victoria/Strathcona/Sheraton/Westin Harbour Castle - every one of those hotels I've stayed in would have taken a cash/debit or credit card deposit. But when checking in at Cambridge Suites, we were informed they would only take credit card. Luckily, they were accommodating, because it was a special occasion for my guest and I, and they allowed us to pay our deposit on debit and get a refund in the morning. Totally weird experience, never has this happened to me at any other hotel. Also, they should explain better how to use the keycards after 10pm in the elevators. We were in the elevator 3 times after 10pm, and each time we went in, there were other guests trying to get to their rooms, and all of them were confused. It seems that it wasn't explained to any of the guests how it actually works, or how it needs to be used. All in all, the hotel was nice. The room was spacious. The staff was professional and helped us with our problem at check in. Although, I do not think I would return to this hotel, I would rather return to a hotel that I have stayed at before and I know that they would take other forms of payment for the deposit.

Nice but with a downside

Pros: location
Cons: wifi, amenities, soundproofing
Location: near eaton centre.
The free wifi is non-existent. If you want to use it it has to be before 7:30am or it will grind to a halt. They are doing renovations now, and the walls are paper thin, and you can hear everything going on through the vents in the other rooms. On Wednesday night I heard a couple having sex where the female was very vocal, through the vents. The person Pamela who was cleaning my room did a nice job, but it's just a hotel. Nothing exceptional. My bed was very 'worn-in' so there was a big gap in the mattress where everyone sleeps.

We stayed just one night. The staff were great and the location of the hotel is amazing... just a short walk over to a main subway line. Overall, a lovely experience - would recommend.

Pros: Staff are friendly and the hotel room was generally neat and clean.
Cons: Finish the construction and include parking.
Hotel washrooms were under construction and there was constant noise during the late morning. Parking was also not included in the price which is painful considering parking rates in downtown Toronto.
