Excellent StaffPosted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Location, hot breakfast, cleanliness, friendly staff, exercise and business area.
Cons: Pronounced chlorine odor permeates the lobby and first floor we stayed in. Not crazy about allowing pets in the hotel but I understand.
Location: Mt. Carmel, Bloomsburg and Pottsville.
Enjoyed our stay. All staff were friendly and helpful. Special kudos to the gentleman who was in charge of the hot breakfast each day. Outstanding! Thanks

the hotel and rooms were not very clean, you could tell in the elevator on the way up what the experience was going to be like. Beds were uncomfortable.

Not worth the room rate!Posted Jun 24, 2014
Overall the biggest problem was that our room wasn't clean adequately when we arrived. The room wasn't cleaned for the next day including the trashes weren't emptied the bathroom wasn't clean there were no fresh towels etc. The staff was clearly not focused on hospitality.

Only because it's 1 hour from Penn StatePosted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: It's a hour from Beaver Stadium.
Cons: Would be nice if housekeeping could actually be, you know, implemented.
Location: Beaver Stadium.
Bare bones accommodations an hour from Beaver Stadium. Lumpy mattresses and pillows; a toilet that made noises all day and night; not enough tissues or toilet paper; air conditioning that was noisy, and made the room hot or cold. No one bothered to provide any housekeeping -- ANY HOUSEKEEPING -- other than to bring fresh towels; the beds were left unmade, papers and tissues left on the floor, wastebaskets left full. Stay there only if desperate. It beats sleeping in your car. Maybe.

I would stay here againPosted Aug 25, 2013
Cons: Breakfast was very good but the area was cramped and crowded.
Very pleased with the experience. Comfy bed, clean room, plenty of supplies, and a very good complimentary breakfast. I would stay here again.

Just in the nick of time!Posted Apr 29, 2013
Pros: Breakfasts. Used the dinning room for a family meeting without the feeling of imposing on anyone.
Cons: Rushing water can be heard going though the plumbing from other bathroom at times.
Location: Great....far enough away from the road noise. Quite room
I left all my personal ID's credit cards and cash that was in my billfold at the desk when I checked out. I would not have known this until I was 300 miles when an employee flag me down as I was leaving. She told me that the desk clerk told her that he had found a billfold. She immediately knew who it belong to because she had just washed out my coffee mug and ran out the door to get me. God bless her for the extra effort and concern she had for me!

We'll be staying here again!Posted Feb 23, 2012
Pros: Free wireless
The breakfast was great. They had more choices than I thought there would be. The room was huge. We had a toddler with us and they gave us a room over the office. So no one was disturbed by his running in our room. The front desk clerk gave us a battery when we needed one. They also supplied us with garbage bags when we needed them. We brought milk along for my grandson and they let us keep it in the office refrigerator. They were very accommodating. I wish I would have paid more attention to the amenities and brought along swimsuits so my grandson could have swam. I definitely recommend this hotel. We even saved more by using our AAA card. Also free wireless. And lots of channels to choose from on the TV. Kudos!

Good for what we needed it for.Posted Jun 27, 2011
We always stay at this hotel when we go to Knoebel's. It's an 8 mile drive, free breakfast and usually an indoor pool. Unfortunately, the pool was broken on this trip and couldn't be used. Very disappointing for my kids. Otherwise, nice, clean room, friendly staff. I'd recommend for the future.
