"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay at Turtle retreat. It is a lovely place with lots of well thought out details to make it very comfortable. It is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood with close beach access to beautiful Del-Mar beach. The restaurants and shops in town are nearby. The host was so nice to work with and communication was excellent. We will definitely be back for another trip."

"I selected this property specifically for its proximity to the dog beach. I was visiting family and travel with my dog so I wanted him to be able to enjoy the beach as well. The off-leash dog beach is within walking distance of the cottage. The cottage has a fully fenced back yard and a hose to rinse my dog off after the beach and a small deck for him to dry off on. Where this house really lacked was in “amenities.“ There was no user manual to explain the house, there was no coffee, even a small amount, to get you through to the next morning.
