"Great beds, very helpful staff, short walk to mall and other shops. We had dinner and breakfast there and we were very happy with the options, they even had a gluten free area for the breakfast service. We needed connected rooms and the staff was very good at sorting it out."

"The building is very charming and the grounds are lovely. The staff is very welcoming and helpful and the food was good. That being said, the pictures and description are a little misleading. The hotel is not on the shore of Lake Llanquehue. It has a large pond that it borders (as shown in the picture for the hotel). Although the pond was nice and included a rowboat which guests can use at anytime, there were hundreds of very noisy birds, detracting from what could be a very tranquil experience....

" The Solace Hotel I liked the hotel, cozy, spacious room, upgraded, bed with good sheets and pillows, clean bathroom with a shower head working very well. The location is very close to the center, we could do everything on foot, and being on a hill wasn't a problem for us. There is a great Japanese restaurant opposite and a steak restaurant very close by. In the center it was very easy to take public transport to go to Puerto Montt and Frutillar. "A small dirt road from a small town will get you there. Follow the paved road to the end and then follow a dirt road until the end. It has gorgeous views of the surrounding volcanoes. Jacuzzi is out of order. They have very friendly dogs. Wifi is decent and only in the main common area. Breakfast is a bit pricey, but good. (Fresh bread is great.) The cabin is rustic and lovely. (Bring you own knife if you plan to cook.) In short, the location is great and the views are even better!...

"Really cannot provide a valued rating here because I did not stay on their site for these dates. I had scheduled this hotel through Expedia, but made a mistake on the dates selected. As I was setting up a number of hotels for October trip, the Expedia site defaulted me back to September of which I did not catch before i booked the trip. Unfortuately the hotel stay was the next day. I tried to cancel, change, but was unable due to the timeframe. A note was sent through Expedia's support to the hotel, but they never responded. Since I did not stay with them and wanted to yet in October, I was just hoping some adjustment could be made. Thank you"
