Good Experience

I was there with my wife for a concert and spent only one night at the hotel. It was nice, the bed was very confortable and the best pillows ever. The only thing that we didn’t like was that our room was on the highway side and it was kind of loud. If you stay here, ask for a room away from the highway.

The hotel was very nice..loved the room...the staff was very nice and accomodating...only thing that bothered me was that the ice machine was only on one floor...wondered throughout the fourth floor for a while until I just asked the front desk where the ice machine was.

This is a beautiful hotel with an awesome room! However, they only have a refrigerator (no freezer) & the breakfast is sorely lacking. All they had was bread, fruit, milk/juice & yogurt. My son didn’t like anything so we bought some extra breakfast for $6.50 each only to be surprised by the tasteless eggs, soggy bacon & limp/cold potatoes. SOOOO, not worth the breakfast - save your money & go to Denny’s instead!! Also, they don’t even have coffee/tea out 24 hrs a day! But overall, this is a nice hotel.

We got to the hotel with over 45min. left to get to my college graduation registration on time. Hotel check-in seemed easy enough until we tried to get in the room. The key did not work so my husband went down to tell them & they asked for his ID, even though we had JUST left the lobby! He returned with a manager & maintenance man who tried our key then tried his skeleton key, which neither one worked. I now had 25min. to get to graduation, my baby was starting to fuss & I still had no room to change in. The employee radioed the front desk to give him another room# with a king bed which I had reserved. He relayed that to the front desk who gave him another room# down the hall but maintenance struggled again to unlock the door but finally opened it. We got in the room to find double beds instead of a king but had no time to try another room so we took it leaving me 20min. to change & get to graduation. By the time we returned after grad. & dinner we were tired & did not feel like moving so we stayed in the double bed room. We had to lay on our sides & his feet were at the edge of the bed (if he was 6ft2 he would have been too long for the bed!) They did not even offer to refund a portion of the charges for our inconvenience. Also, Free Breakfast was coffee/tea/juice, cereal, fruit, breads & yogurt with a lot of other food & drink on display but you had to buy it. Stay elsewhere if you do not have time to juggle rooms and want to enjoy a comfortable bed!

Great Room Awesome TV

Needed a week end get away. Even though I live in town I wanted to pretend I was out of town. Great Place... Everyone was nice and the hotel was central located so I could still go home check on pets, and go shop, and go out to eat etc. And go back to a freshly cleaned awesome room with a great tv and be lazy. The pool is nice, small but nice.

The Best Place to stay in Phoenix

My family loves this hotel. We found it on the web and fell in love with it when we got there. Now when we go to Phoenix we only stay there ans nowhere else. if you havent stayed there you dont know what your missing.

Good Room/Extroverted Staff

We had a good overnight visit at Hyatt Place Phoenix North. Top line: * Great staff. They were consistently friendly, enthusiastic, and high energy. They always seemed to be looking out for how we might be helped in having a better stay. * We (5-person family) liked our room. Exceptional flat screen TV - our teens really liked that; best one we had on a ten-night trip throughout the Southwest. Room was up-to-date and attractive. Beds were comfortable, including a pull-out sofa. Only (slight) downside: bathroom was a little tight. * Convenient location to interstate making it easy to move about Phoenix though not being "downtown" Couple of downticks during our visit: * The pool was not swimmable. They were having a chemicals issue and had closed the pool - unfortunate for us after 16+ hours on the road with three teens ready for some pool time. (And it was hot weather!) * The complimentary continental breakfast spread was okay, but not exceptional - compared to other places we visited. And, the milk was undrinkable.

Love the hotel! Iwill stay there again and recommend it to all.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I loved the separate living quarters and the large screen TV. The bed were comfortable and the staff was help and friendly. I will stay here again and will recommend it to all who ask.

There is a TGI Fridays just across the parking lot with a very friendly staff. Perfect after a long day.

The hotel was pretty nice. The check in staff were very friendly and explained the hotel imenities. The location was close to some good local restruants...a nice stroll over.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It was perfect for our family of six. We all fit very comforatably in one room and having a refrigerator was helpful.We will definately be staying at the Hyatt Place on all Furtue vacations.Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so comfortable

I highly recommend this hotel. I walked into my room to be greeted by a HUGE flat screen HD TV. The bed was super comfy and the living area was nice! Make sure you ask for a room that doesn’t face the highway, it get loud at night with passing trucks.I’ll be back!

The only complaint I would have is that this hotel does not have a soda/pop machine anywhere. If you want anything to drink you have to go down to the front desk and make the purchase. Other than that... We LOVED our stay. The rooms are huge and are very nice. We also loved the beds--very good night rest :) We are planning another trip in June and will be returning to stay again!!

Great for what we paid.

Nice clean spacious room, a little distance from Camelback Ranch in Glendale which is why we went to Arizona, but a very nice clean comfortable hotel. My only issue was the distance from the Stadium but overall a great place. Would book again if I can find a closer hotel of same type

Nice hotel, great location, just be aware of policies

My big concern is that Hyatt Place may not have the room you requested and paid for through Expedia when you get there. We were lucky to get the last 2 bed room, but whoever was behind us got bumped to a 1 bed. Rooms were clean comfy and convenient, continental breakfast was fine, they do offer what looked like yummy cooked breakfast also. Staff was great and helpful.

Had one of the best dinners I have EVER eaten at Pappadeaux Seafood restaurant within walking distance of Hyatt North. Service, price, food, beverages and portions all over and above what I have come to expect.

Excellent Value

We stayed overnight & had a perfect experience. Really well thought out floorplan for our room. THE BEST bed I’ve ever slept in (Hyatt is known for those). And, easy check in, check out, Starbucks coffee & fresh continental breakfast that was set up like a kitchen at home for the modern family. I would stay in one of these types of Hyatt again. Perfect for business travel, too.

Great Hotel but Poor Cleaning Service

We stayed for 5 nights over the week of Christmas and we love the hotel, it was actually our 3rd stay at the Hyatt Place. Unfortunately, the maid or cleaning service was not right this time. When they showed up it was fine and we are generous tippers. One night they did not show up all day, finally in the evening we called but everyone was off duty, they did find a person so they cleaned the room but we had to leave. The other night, no one showed up again until late and at that point we didn’t want to get kicked out again, so we said skip us. It’s not a good thing to miss out on the room cleaning and we were unhappy about that. Either way, we will maybe go back depending on the type of response i get to this note.

Great room, very comfortable,TV was positioned so you could see from couch area or pivot it and watch from bed. We were on the back side of the hotel and the Freeway got a little noisy at times but not overly so.

Very nice hotel

The hotel is located about 10 miles from downtown Phoenix but easy to get to. The room was very nice with a large comfortable sectional sofa, a refrigerator, and coffee maker. There was no microwave though. The flat screen tv is mounted on the wall between the living area and the bedroom area and could be adjusted to be seen from both - a nice touch. The sink and counter area were open to the rest of the room, and the closet was tucked into the area by the sink and opening to it was rather small and there is no hair dryer in the bathroom, but the room was really nice. I would stay there again. We were there in December, the weather was 60-70, and the large pool was heated, but not crowded. There is a continental type breakfast for free, but you could also order heartier meals such as bacon and eggs for a price. There is also free computer access right off of the lobby. All-in-all, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Would definitely stay again

Staff very helpful and curteous to anything required. We were given a room next to the elevator which had an annoying sound that you could hear every time it stopped. We asked for a change of room and they were happy to oblige. Room was very nice, large flatscreen TV, with a separate living area. The closet space was limited but okay for two people, just. Highway very close by the hotel. We were on the non traffic side and never heard anything. Included breakfast, very nice, no complaints. A car is a must have if staying here but everything fairly close by. Town center approx ten minutes drive. Airport approx fifteen. Would definitely stay here again.

Two restuarants within 5 minutes walk of the hotel but not easily seen. Staff will tell you how to get to them. Other restuarants a few minutes drive from hotel.

Can’t wait to go nack!

This is my second stay at the Hyatt Place Phoenix North. I wish I traveled more to this area so I could stay here. The people are wonderful and the rooms are the best I have stayed in. Big screen TV a plus and great continental breakfast!

Call and make sure the pool is open. It is seasonal.
