International Hotel

A very friendly hotel, close to the city centre.

"International" is a modern hotel, neat and very clean, with friendly staff. Internet is wireless, with a good conectivity, though not a secure one. Rooms are comfortable and clean. There are even rooms for smokers! It is not far from the old city centre, practically a walking distance, and close to a number of offices and institutions. It can be definitely recommended for a business trip, although I would consider it for a leisure stay too.

There is a very good modern steak house, with an excellent wine list, just around the corner, two-three minutes walk from the hotel.

Decent Hotel management, impressive service

Located within the walking distance from the historic city center and major urban attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food served at the restaurant is great. If you’re willing to spend more to capture a geniune Zagreb experience, you might want to try one of the historic hotels located in downtown. Otherwise, you are in for a real treat for the kind of rates Hotel International charges its customers.

Try the veal marsala at the restaurant. They make it quite delicious.

Hotel was simple and clean, all needed fac available, however in the evening hours the hotel lobby bar and restaurant seemed to be pretty boring. Good steak restaurant just like 300m from the hotel !

A place to stay

International Hotel is a very affortable hotel in Zagreb. It is a full service hotel but at a lower costs than the other full service hotels. It is just outside the center of town, so it is very quiet. For leisure, you can walk to all interesting tourist places of Zagreb which will save you money. The hotel also offers trnsfer to airport and because you are just outside the city center, you do not have to fight traffic

Everything is in walking distance, go to the information center which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Toours are available and they will bring you back to the hotel

Permanent customer

Hotel is located in a nice, modern area of the city, only a few tram stops from the center square, or about 20 minutes walking distance. Hotel is very modern; it offers a free wireless internet in the rooms. The staff is fairly hospitable. I plan on using this hotel for my future stays in Zagreb.

Traveler's tip on nightlife

The hotel is only 5 minutes walking distance from the famous Lisinski Music Hall and 2 minutes away from the Boogaloo club. There is also a Biker Club "Route 66" just a minute away from the hotel.

Would definitely stay there again

This hotel is a bit off the beaten path for tourists, as it is not located within easy walking distance of the main city square. However, there is a tram stop on the corner, so it is quite easy to get anywhere in town. The hotel is modern and clean, with European-style rooms that are very nice and new. I would recommend the deluxe rooms if your budget can stand it. They’re larger and have better beds and a better bathroom. The restaurant is acceptable, probably not one that you’ll go to if you’re not staying at the hotel, but good enough for a meal or two if you don’t feel like going out. The included breakfast was one of the better ones I have seen, with a wide variety of foods, from breads and croissants to hot meats and eggs. I would definitely stay here again if I should return to Zagreb.
