Great Rates, Good Location, Would Stay Again
We stayed here twice --on the way from Michigan to Boston and then again on the way back. Both times we were very satisfied. We stayed on the weekend and they had a movie playing each weekend night in one of the indoor courtyards. Great for kids! The second time we stayed (a week after the first time), the hotel wasnt busy so they gave us a free upgrade to a HUGE room with three queen beds -- it had SO much space for our kids to run around and play -- what a special treat! We were so pleased with the service, too. We had trouble getting the room heated, so they gave us a couple of tips and said to call back if it didnt improve. About 15 minutes later, they called US back to see how it was, and then immediately sent someone to fix it. Will definitely stay here again!
Seems like a no-brainer, but make sure you take the Maid of the Mist down by the falls -- great fun! (Runs April-October and is about $13/pp)

Cant beat it for the money!
Close to everything, nicely decorated, comfy beds and pillows, updated furniture and bathroom, good water pressure (and one of those shower massager heads), and a recycling bin! The only complaint we had was the 9 dollars per night we had to pay for parking (but you could come and go as many times as you wanted within a 24 hour period)
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
The Falls were beautiful but other than that, there wasnt too much to do in Niagara. We did visit the Ice Wine House (small mom and pop winery) and did some sampling which was delicious. And I wouldnt waste your money on going to the Country Chalet breakfast buffet. It was like 6.99 for all you can eat but there wasnt much of a selection and they dont have tap water, you had to purchase a bottle of water for 2.75 and juice was 3.75.

We really enjoyed our stay!
The Skyline Inn was a very good choice - it was right in the middle of everything. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! The hotels that offer a view of the falls also offer a very large price tag for the "view" rooms - all their other rooms are interior anyway. We found the staff to be quite friendly and helpful.
Traveler's tip on dining
We ate at the attached Perkins our first two mornings. yuck!!! and way too expensive! on our third morning, we discovered the Secret Garden Restaurant, which was through the parking garage, through the Crown Plaza Hotel, across the street, down the steps leading down to the falls and on the left. Our breakfast there was extraordinary, and cheap!!! We were thrilled, and so disappointed not to have discovered it earlier.

Look for a deal with a nicer hotel its worth the extra 20 bucks
They made it sound like there was a pool on the premisis to use in addition to the water park you have to pay by the day to use. Nope you have to walk down the street to another hotel to use their pool, which was more like a puddle. They claim you get a great deal on breakfast at Perkins in the hotel with the 10% discount, but it was nearly 20 dollars per person to eat a standard breakfast you could get for 10 anywhere else. We would not stay there again.

Youll want to stay again.
Comfortable rooms. Convenient access to food and other activites. Water park and casino across the way.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If you gamble at the Casinos parking is free. Dont pay a hotel extra for parking.

Location
Very nice location within an easy walk to the falls. Also next to a casino. The room was fine. Nothing spectacular, but clean and well furnished.
Traveler's tip
Crossing at the Rainbow Bridge was much easier than at the Peace Bridge.

We were very impressed at how clean and visually satisfying The Skyline Inn was. The rooms are a good size, with modern ammenities. Service was excellent. Location was amazing - Water Park, Casino and The Falls were a stones throw away!

Hotel was nice and clean. Indoor waterpark attached to the hotel.
We stayed at the skyline inn for 4 days. We were a family of 5. Rooms are small but clean. Blow dryer broke 2x, they replaced it right away. When we checked in, they gave us an upgrade to the courtyard..no big deal.outside view was an air conditioner on the roof....not really an upgrade! Walking distance from all attractions, nice area, no microwave only a tiny fridge. I recommend this hotel for a small family staying 2 nights. I give it a 2.5
Niagara Falls attractions are affordable. The food is not. Most hotels do not have microwaves to warm up food. I recommend staying in a hotel which includes hot breakfast. Avoid the Visitors center. They will entice you for the tour of the falls. You can do it yourself for a lot less money.

perfect location
The hotel was in the middle of all attraction and walking ditance to everything. We felt little bit ackward about the motel-like layout and full windows looking to courtyard, but rooms were comfortable. The price we paid was definetelty worthed, at least for the convenience of the hotel location.

Good deal for price
We had a nice stay at the Skyline. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I can complain about was the very noisy air conditioner. It would kick on in the middle of the night and sound like an airplane taking off. I did let them know and they emailed me after our trip and said they replaced motor. Not sure if I believe that, but the room was very nice otherwise. Newly decorated, very modern and stylish. Bathroom was very clean. Loved having fridge! Location is pretty good. 8 years ago we stayed at the Sheraton on the Falls. That location is awesome, but the Skyline was good for kids. They show a nightly movie in indoor courtyard. Got discount for water park that is connected to hotel.
Request room off of courtyard that doesnt show movie if you want some quiet. Great restaurants: Kelseys (Clifton Hill) great food and great for families. Tony Romas was very good! Forget the name, but restaurant with huge outdoor sitting area across from falls was great for lunch!!!

good value in an expensive town
The hotel was clean, modern and had extremely comfortable beds. It was conveniently located and was within walking distance of the Falls, shops, casino and restaurants. Access to the hotels pool was great and the waterpark was a blast for the whole family. The in-room fridge was good for keeping water bottles & snacks cold.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel in lower price range. Clean, updated rooms, and attentive staff. Very kid-friendly, in fact, movies are shown every night for kids in the courtyard at 8:30.

Skyline Inn A walk in the Clouds
Excellent service. Located near everything. Childrens movie night in the indoor courtyard was awesome. Hotel has an innovative policy in which guest are not allowed to be in the courtyard after 11 to insure all guest have a goodnights rest.

good hotel, some small problems
It is an easy hotel, nearby the Falls and easy to reach. Our romm was ok, it was smelling a little bit cause of the A/C. Everything seems a little bit older. Its a short walk to the Falls, so the Hotel is very quiet.

Worth what we paid for it
Not the fanciest place weve ever stayed, but the price was right. Only thing that they could improve that wouldnt cost them anything was the helpfulness of the front desk staff at check in. Got curt responses when I asked about the pool. Knew we would have to go to a neighboring hotel, but got no usefull information other than the names of the hotels.

Great Place
This hotel is within walking distance of the falls. Its also connected to the water park. Check-in was smooth. Clean rooms, beds were specious and clean, nice bathroom.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
As you probably heard on different reviews The Falls are expensive, well here are few tips all the rooms have frigs so bring in some cold cuts and some milks to make yourself some breakfast & lunch. Bring a cooler the hotel has free ice. Walk down to the falls and purchase the four pass tickets it also includes FREE bus ride for the day.

For the location is an okay place to stay
There is too little room for signing in/registering and for leaving, way too congested and slow. The rest of the hotel is okay. The locatin is its big draw, across from the "old" casino, and an easy walk to the falls, past all the stores, attractions and places to eat. Employees were freiendly, and polite including the people who serviced the rooms. Perkins is attaced to the hotel for convenience of eating, and other eating places are a short walk away.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The main attraction is Niagara Falls, and one can park their car at thehotle paking garage and walk to see the falls. Also the Oaks gardens which aare beautigul. The casino is across the street. Food and all kinds of non Niagara Falls related attractions are on Clifton Hill just a parking lot walk from the hotel.

Nice family hotel
I vacation to Niagara Falls about every six months. My girlfriend and I enjoy the falls, Toronto, and Niagaras wine region. The Skyline is a nice convient family hotel. It is centrally located to all of the attractions, and connected to the waterpark.(via a covered walkway) The hotel was clean. My only issue was with parking. The Skyline is a smaller hotel and we had to park in the garage across the street.(at no extra charge)This was not a big deal. I would stay here again.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
This is a nice hotel. If traveling on a summer weekend I would try to arrive as early as possible to get a good parking space.

Great Value!
The hotel itself doesnt havea pool, but you can use 4 other pools, including an outside one that over looks the falls. We had a great time, the room was extremely clean and there was free internet!

Not impressed.
We were upgraded to a recently updated room after complaining about the smell of our first room. New room was spacious and had a window facing a parking lot. Previous room had no outside windows and faced a depressing, unattractive "courtyard". None of the rooms have a view of the Falls although attractions were close enough. Water park was fun but one day pass would have been enough.

Very nice
My 3 kids and I stayed in the family bunkbed suite and it was very roomy and comfortable. It was nice that the hotel showed family movies in their courtyard every night. Downsides: no pool of their own (we did take advantage of the pool at the Crowne Plaza once, but it was a hassle: you had to walk outside across the street, through the parking garage, and it was not clearly marked where to go); no ice machine on the 2nd floor (only a minor complaint); Perkins restaurant closed at 10 (so, no ice cream for us after the fireworks!); and the bathroom was kind of dark in the shower area (only two spots in the sink area, no light over the shower). The waterpark was gallons of fun (dont pay for a 2-day waterpark package: I paid for one night waterpark package and got passes for 2 days). The hotel is close to everything; once we got there we parked the car and didnt drive *anywhere*.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Dont purchase the Adventure City coupons offered at check-in before investigating. It turned out to be kind of a dud, though some was cool. They make it hard to give the coupons away, but you can give the tkts away if youre not going to use them. Each attraction offers a different Funpass card; i.e., the one at the Skywheel includes 6 attractions, but the one at Brick City includes a different 6 attractions.
