A Nice Place to stay
The hotel was nice. The drinks and the food at the restaurant were a hair pricey, but I think that’s just Miami. We were only in the hotel for one night, but the staff was nice helpful and courteous. I would stay there again!!

Overnight Only
Stayed at the Hotel prior to going on our cruise. Arrived late, after midnight, so we really didn’t get to enjoy the hotel ammenities. The morning experience however was wonderful. They had a van to take us right to the pier for only $10 bucks a person.

Excellent Value for a Nice Hotel
The Sofitel was clean, the service up to par and our room offered a nice view of the water all for a great rate! Don’t forget that Sofitel offers complimentary round trip airport shuttle service that runs every 30mins. Next, room service was quick but would have been great if our breakfast tasted better. There is a nice bar area to relax, socialize or watch a game. Overall, this is a great hotel that’s pocket-friendly but keep in mind it’s not close to South Beach or any of the main attractions. So, if you’re looking to explore Miami a little more it’s best to rent a car.

A great place to stay
This hotel was a nice surprise. It is very near the airport, has a great breakfast in its own restaurant and is walking distance to other restaurants. The bed is very comfortable and the atmosphere is great. My only disappointment was having to pay for internet if you want it in your own room.

Near the airport.
Beautiful hotel near the airport, bathrooms were nothing special but everything else was great. Good quality for the money. They also have a free shuttle to the airport and cheap parking. (for a hotel!)
I would recommend driving an hour south to Key Largo, to the John Pennecamp National Park for snorkeling!

Good Location
Sofitel Miami is in a central location. Pretty close to South Beach, Downtown and Coral Gables. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, enjoyed the stay, the room was a little small, but comfortable.

Great hotel near airport
Is a great hotel, when you need to stay for a short travel, is near airport and car rentals, the hotel staff was friendly, with good tips for Miami, we will stay again in a future trip

Not clean
This hotel looked nice but had problems. First there was no ramp for us to drag our baggage from the parking lot, but there were stairs. The glasses in the bar area were really stained and looked dirty. The pillows smelled really bad, just took one sniff and threw them to the chair. AND, there was no top sheet on the bed. You cant tell me they wash the comforter every time a guest leaves. I scratched all night. For a good night’s rest, youre better off somewhere else!

An OK stay
The hotel seems to be in need of renovation, at least in the lobby and passenger drop-off area. The rest of the hotel was nice and comfortable. Doesn’t include free internet access in the rooms.

Love the Sofitel
Second time I have stayed here and purposely chose to come back. Much better than an airport hotel. Chic, sophisticated decor, great staff. No extra charge to send a package for me. Nice pool and comfy rooms.

Good Hotel for the Price. Close to Airport
First room smelled like smoke, but they moved us to a new room without incident and it was much better. Convenient shuttle to airport! Very friendly and helpful staff!!

Convenient!
This hotel is very close to the airport and is in a very convenient location. The pool is quite nice and the staff were helpful. Nice room, clean and comfortable. Our meal was pleasant if somewhat overpriced. Overall, a very nice stay.

Rip Off
Bar bill for 4 drinks (Crown) more than eighty dollars. Reserved and prepaid for a king smoking room. Checked in and got to room, no ashtray. Called down and were told we were in a non-smoking room. They gave our room away although it was prepaid and although I contacted the hotel to let them know our flight would not arrive until midnight. The air conditioner sounded like a helicopter taking off and landing all night.
