“Beds were close together in my 4 bed dorm. Good that there're plenty of windows that could be opened. The lockers were big and sturdy. Ensuite bathroom was clean, shower was strong and hot. Tiny communal kitchen with 1 fridge, 2 induction stoves, 2 kettles, but clean stainless steel cookware, plates, cutleries. Not enough cups/bowls for hot liquid. The male cleaner was diligent in maintaining its cleanliness, but rubbish bin still stuffed to the rim, because of the number of guests using it (the……
“The kitchen had basics but missing a few utensils such as a bottle opener or corkscrew, spatula or serving spoon. We improvised. Also some light bulbs were out.
Great location in the heart of old town, but be aware that there is a lively Mexican restaurant below (good food but noisy) and the street doors were often wedged open. Wouldn’t want to stay there with very young children or as a lone female. ”
“I was lucky to stay here when the temperature dips below 20 at night so every bit of warmth was appreciated. There was a fan that still worked non-stop to offset the heat produced by four people during the day. Transportation into the town was very convenient with bus stops for 1 and 10 within a few minutes’ walk. The lounge outside the rooms was spacious for eating. Water pressure was great and showers were hot.”
