“None of the Motel 6's that we stayed at during this trip had breakfasts available, although it was advertised to have breakfast. A lot of remodeling going on, loud construction and workers taking up the parking spaces in front of the guest rooms, so it was not convenient to unload and load luggage. Guests should be compensated with a gift card for breakfast or a room discount.”

“We stayed at the Postcard Cabin while in the area for the NASCAR race. We didn’t want to stay in a cheap motel. This tiny cabin was perfect. We had bonfires and enjoyed the outdoors, away from the hustle and bustle. If you like glamping, this is the place. Very clean, nice touches (S’mores kit, wood, snacks) and private. No TV or mirror, but we didn’t mind. A little hard to find when it gets dark, but just drive slow and go over the map they send. ”

“Well the property overbooked, and refused to give me my reservation and turned me away. An hour later, after driving around town in circles with no where to stay, after coming back was I given my rooms.”

“Rooms had been remodeled, but very poorly. The AC unit in the room was set at 68 but wouldn't stay running for more than a few minutes before shutting off. It would come back on soon, but not running like it should and never got cold in the room. The remote to the TV didn't have a back on it. No big deal, but the battery was slightly sticking out. I shoved it in to get connection. As I was flipping through the channels, it started getting so hot in my hand that I had to lay it down. The knew it……

“Room was bare bones. No place to hang clothes. Left after first night even though I paid for two nights.”

“Everything you need, nothing you don't.”

“Room was filthy and old. Bed linen was soiled and we had to buy sheets and blankets. Outlets didn’t work, lamps were broken, mouse traps everywhere, fridge was from a horror show! I cannot express how dirty it was and how rundown! Owner looked unkempt. One star is generous ”
