“We had a racing break their it was vey good and clean the only negative was the evening meal finished at 7 we were 2 late. And no breakfast . We could only have 1 coffee each as their was no coffee sachets and milk cartains. When the bar closed”

“This property receives variable reviews across various platforms, great reviews and poor reviews alike seem a little unrealistic and the bad ones often ill founded. It is a old and tired property that reuqires a lot of work, the room was small but comfortable. There was a pervading smell of damp (not cooking oil as noted on other platforms) just like home!! wall paper and bathroom had clearly suffered in past. “Spotless linen and towels. Breakfast lovely. Staff delightful and so so helpful but suddenly jobless. I was advised it was shutting within 3 days so had to walk to sister hotel 5 minutes away for breakfast. Shared toilet and shower with 2 other rooms. Room very cold at night so cleaner gave me an electric radiator from another room. This property needs a lot of fuel
Injection to bring it up to standard. Staff worked hard and were brilliant but the hotel was damp, scruffy and certainly seen……
