I stayed here for a week while finding an apartment. Remember it is a low cost guest house so expectations should be set accordingly. It was clean and comfortable. The location is good. It's on a wel lit side street so it's quiet and night but still close to things. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help you with anything you need. I think in my case the staff went out of their way to help me with things that were not even part of their job. There is also a cafe across the street that I would suggest eating at. Overall, I would recommend Star Wood Inn as a good place to stay whether you are visiting for a few days or relocation to Phnom Penh and need a place to stay while finding an apartment.

My first time in Cambodia and I was wondering about this hotel in Phnom Penh at such à low price and was nicely surprise. Staff are very nice and it's two blocks from the riverside with nice restaurants and bars and markets à few blocks away. I strongly recommend the
Dara Reang Sey hotel in Phnom Penh, excellent quality for the price you pay.

Stayed here for 2 nights. I was told the hotel is full so my original booking was changed. The room had no windows but then the hotel is situated in the middle of a complex so then it made sense that some rooms won't have windows. I don't remember reading the description to see if there weren't any windows in the rooms. It was just a surprise. The breakfast was good. The hotel is just a few blocks and you will be at sisowath quay where good restaurants are. Also, the hotel is close to tourist attractions that can walk to or tuk tuk. Staff are friendly and helpful. Over all good stay.

My room was amazing, even though facing the streets means tuktuk drivers will keep offering rides everytime they see you, thats pretty the norm in Cambodia and you have to get used to it. I loved the balcony regardless.
One negative point is that because internet in my room didn't work properly I had to use their phone at the reception to re-arrange my flights, the recepcionist lady first told me it was free and then wanted to charge me $10 USD for a 20 min phone call. Nedless to say I voiced out to her how dishonest that is. In the end she didn't charge me so all good. I will definitely stay here again. They don't offer breakfast tho, just eggs and toast.
