"ive stayed here many times because its a very good price for central istanbul- it is quite basic but it has character, it is in the tarlabasi a very old district of istanbul, a bit ramshackle- which i like, but safe,. there are friendly reception staff, close to istiklal caddesi with its many restaurants and shops. its on a very steep street so not great for people with mobility problems, it is also close to the famous sunday market, comfortable bed, i slept well"

"Everyone at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. There is an afternoon piano player and small snacks and drinks. It was such a nice personal touch. My only complaint would be that my water for shower was cold or hot and it was difficult to control temperature. "

"This is a nice place to stay but my room 302 was on top of two night clubs with different music tastes. Clubs run until 4am so if you go to club best choice but if not then is terrible choice."

"Great hotel in a great location. The staff were extremly friendly and helpful, especially Ibrahim, who was a real help and spoke great English. Quite a few flights of stairs to get to the room but was only an issue with bags. Good breakfast and Ibrahim remembered it was our wedding aniversary and put a cake in the room, a really nice extra touch. "

"It is what it is. For the price, I think it’s like a local old apartment in a bit of disrepair. However, the bonus is that the property is close by everything and walking distance to metro. The staff at the hotel are amazing and very nice. They were good with English and very helpful! So that was a bonus as well. "
