“Our stay was a little disappointing. The exterior of the property needs maintenance, with a deteriorated facade and overgrown areas. Upon arrival, there were strong unpleasant odors on the lower level, and seeing piles of bed linens in common areas was not a good first impression.
The room itself was acceptable. The sheets were clean, and the air conditioning worked very well. The best part of our stay was definitely the breakfast area: it was pleasant and clean, the bathroom was very well……
“We stayed for 3 nights in June. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are clean and the staff helpful and friendly. It's very well situated, only yards from the main square and a wonderful indoor food market. I'd recommend it.”
“Unique, quirky, ancient building. Excellent restaurant (not open in August). Comfortable and relaxing. The only improvement one could wish for is a kettle in the room and minimal tea/coffee amenities, but that's not typical of traditional Italian hotels. In any case, the continental buffet is great and included in the rate.”
“Good location with nice staff. An old hotel with acceptable beds and toilet. What frustrating me most is the super weak shower water pressure (weak water pressure to the extend that the water cannot reach my face when i put the shower right in front of my face). It took me ages to finish a shower, its not fun when the weather is cold. I approached front desk for room change but it was claimed fully booked. If you have a choice, pick the lower floor rooms to ensure a good water pressure”
