“I stayed one night upon arrival to Moshi. I was warmly greeted late at night. Check in was super easy. They take a copy of your passport. My room - even though I’d booked a single - was much larger and had a double & single beds. Room was clean and tidy with enough plugs for charging your gadgets. There were toiletries including toothbrushes, soap, shampoo & lotion. Breakfast was included and I even got a nice chef-made omelette. They have a nice sitting area by the pool or you can sit inside.……

The only drawback is that the very clean standard double rooms, although very well appointed, are small. “This is probably the nicest hotel in central Moshi for Europeans on their first trip to the region. You have to remember that this is Africa and things don't always work but on balance this is a good safe place to stay. Once lesson for us was we were pretty much the only Europeans in the town, trekkers and safari people tend to stay outside, so be prepared, this is a busy African town not a tourist place”

“Stay well clear. The manager tried to make out that he'd never heard of hotels.com and that thwy dont take card bookings online. I showed him my payment confirmation and he tried to intimadte me by saying I was a thief and needed to pay in cash. The room was terrible and falling apart.
