Great customer service, very kind and professional staff!

I loved this hotel in Marangu. Very peaceful setting, quiet and clean grounds, nice quaint room. The staff was very nice and attentive.

This is a fascinating property that was a pleasure to be in. Muksin and Catherine were great host. The room was excellent. There are some limitations if you have difficulty walking because of the nature of the steps. If you are fully mobile, it will be a wonderful experience.

What a lovely little gem of a hotel! I stayed here for two days before and two days after my Kilimanjaro hike. The staff are a true highlight of this property and took excellent care of me.

I stayed at Kaliwa Lodge for 4 nights and was impressed by the tranquil and peaceful environment. The terrace is a great place to watch the sacred Mountain Kilimanjaro at different times of the day, and be connected to the nature. I brought along my yoga mat to practise on the terrace every morning. Food is great too, they prepared wonderful vegetarian food for me on request everyday. Staff is very nice and treat every guest with their heart. I really enjoyed staying at Kaliwa Lodge.
