That tells me they're not in tune with the reality of the situation, neither their quality in comparison with other places, nor their value. Actually for this rather average, dated hotel, I think $78 was about right given the the conditions and location. "

"I am very particular and hardly ever go without finding a flaw with a property- I cannot say this for Hotel Aurora and our stay. Everything was exceptional!! From breakfast, to the staff, to the room- everything was PERFECT!! I would not only stay here again, but I would recommend it to anyone traveling in the direction of Sperlonga- in fact, I would tell them to go out of their way to stay at Hotel Aurora- that’s how good our trip was. Despite it says 3 Star(So it’s all about the money, lousy standard overall) • Overpriced with no AC • Rough neighborhood • Extremely small rooms, the shower included. • Beds should have been upgraded 15 years ago together with the rest of the hotel and neighborhood • Small terrace with iron doors making it even smaller We canceled our stay after one night, and booked into another hotel because of the poor conditions....

We stayed 09/29 - 10/02, restaurant on site was closed. Staff was helpful and directed us to places nearby. 10 drive to Colombini for lunch (excellent) or Conca di Sapore for dinner (OK)."

We were able to use the beach chairs at no cost since we went out of season. Breakfast was really good. Had a balcony with clothes line to dry out wet bathing suits. Would definitely stay here again.
