“Staff were very friendly, the breakfast was excellent and I had no problems with parking. If I did have a criticism it would be that the bedroom carpet looked like it could do with a clean and the vinyl bathroom floor had black staines all over it, making it look a bit grotty (room 18). However, that said, I would certainly recommend The George and it would be my first choice next time i'm in Norwich.”

“Goed ontbijt meegekregen in verpakking wegens heel vroege trein. Wilde personeel fooi geven maar dat werd afgeslagen. Die bescheidenheid siert het hotel! Ik vroeg naar adres van een bepaalde bezienswaardighed in de stad, ze zochten het zonder morren voor me op 👍”

“I am afraid the experience was like 30 years ago. The rooms are clean but very dated. New bathroom though. Biggest issue was heating. We arrived at 3pm to a cold room. They had to change the heating timer for the whole hotel to warm our room … or so we were told. Later at 8-9 in the evening when we returned to our room the heating was already off again and the shower was Luke warm. The following morning was fine though. ”
