“Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!”

“Stayed two nights, the apartment was clean and as described on the website. About 10 min drive from Stranda. We did the final cleaning ourself and deposited 990NOK that we got back about 5-7 business days later. A mastercard or cash was required for the deposit. I'm happy and satisfied with my stay. Would really recommend this if you're going to stay around this area. ”
