“We had a fantastic stay at Vollsnes Feriehus Stryn! Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side, but it still gave us fantastic views!”

“Lunheim is a great place to stay, and Ian is very knowledgeable and helpful on all things local. The kitchen for guests is excellent, and with great views, although we were a bit surprised to be charged a cleaning fee for using it, even though left spotless, as I don’t recall this being mentioned on Expedia. That said, we enjoyed our stay and our talks with Ian and were very happy that we stayed at Lunheim.”

“Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!”

“The cabin is great and quiet w/ a great view on the surrounding mountains (hence the “good” overall score). However a few points of disappointment which need to be improved: 1- We met 2 staff members and both barely spoke English, although the check-in instructions (Dan Center) said that staff can speak Norwegian, English and German. The 1st person was friendly though and showed us the cabin. 2- More problematic: there are unclear/hidden fees not documented on Expedia web site nor on the……
