“Highly recommend - it was the most beautiful place we stayed at during our Norway visit. Our property was right on the Oppstrynsvatnet lake. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and had all amenities - full kitchen, dining, iron, hair dryer. The house also had an in-house sauna in addition to a Panaroma sauna on the property. The panaroma sauna followed by a dip in the lake was a great experience. Host lives near the house and therefore, late check in was easy. Suggest bringing your……

“I was meant to stay at this property for my birthday. I arrived at the property, paid for it but after seeing the room the property representative and I both agreed that the property was not suitable for my needs. The property representative promised to annul the transaction but he never did as he had promised. I wasted a lot of my time talking and emailing this person without him actually resolving the problem. I ended up staying at a much better place instead but my interactions at this……

“Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!”
