“Hotel and room were well-appointed, tastefully decorated and in excellent condition. The main beds were very comfortable; the sofa bed much less so. The free local buses and hotel shuttle make it easy to get to the two shopping centres (Lionshead and Vail Village). Breakfast is very good. Noise is the only downside of this hotel: footsteps, banging and music were audible throughout the night from the room above ours, while the highway traffic noise rather spoils the hot tub and balcony areas.……

“It has nice view to the forest and you would be able to see the sunrise in the morning which is beautiful. The outdoor hot tub is supposed to be closed at 10pm, but people are still using it and making noises at night. We told the front desk about it, but they said the whole deck area is a common area, they couldn't do anything about it. This's weird that they have a rule to close the pool at 10pm but no one is forcing it.”

“Room was fantastic looking over downtown Breck. Pool was wonderful with a view of the mountains and right downtown so quick walk to everything. Highly recommend staying here, staff even found me a room hours before normal check in.”

“Our stay was awesome. I was there for the weekend with my daughter and friends to celebrate my birthday. Campbell at the front desk went out of her way to make my day exceptional. She upgraded my room, had a bottle of wine, a card and some chocolate donuts with candles. She’s awesome! The room was amazing and I would definitely stay at Mountain thunder Lodge again. ”
