“The Reluctant Panther was a cut above the other inns that I have stayed at. On check in, we were walked to our room and shown where everything was. The room was very large and comfortable. There was a nice seating area in front of a fireplace. We chose to eat dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and had a truly excellent meal and excellent service. Breakfast is served in a basket that can be picked up in the dining room or delivered to your room. All in all, our stay was exceptional. ”

“South Shire is a quaint Victorian Inn on Elm Street within walking distance to the center of Bennington, VT. The Inn has a family feel and elegance. We traveled as a couple. It was easy to get to sites and enjoy fine restaurants. The Inn is in keeping with the feel of strength of the Bennington community, as a place for artists, musicians, and people's expression generally to thrive. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend South Shire.”

“The property is low cost in a nice area of Peru seconds from Bromley Mtn. BUT the property needs some serious updating -No AC. The host was more than accomodating. ”
