The Positives: • The location is truly excellent. Just a short walk to the Monastery of San Lorenzo, restaurants, shops, and cafes. It is well-situated for anyone exploring the town. • The hotel staff were respectful, helpful, and accommodating throughout my stay. The Negatives: • This is not a 4-star hotel by international standards. At best, it would qualify as a 2-star property. • The building appears to have been last renovated in the early 1990s and has not been properly updated since. Everything from the elevators to the hallway carpeting, furniture, and doors shows clear signs of wear and aging. • I encountered serious issues with the air conditioning. My first room left me waking up drenched in sweat at 3:00 a.m. due to AC failure. I was told it would be fixed, but by the second night, it still had not been resolved. At midnight, I had to be moved to a second room.
