Always a great choice for us. We stayed at the Sonesta Bogota 3 times and once in Pereira for 2022. Even though I am from Colombia, living in the USA has made me spoiled when it comes to hotels, to be more specific, softer mattresses and the option of air conditioning. Plenty of food options within walking distance and if you like beer like I do, there is a Beer Pub with an entrance from the lobby. The Sonesta is in my top 3 stays for Bogota and is very reasonably priced for all that is offered.

Everything about our stay was quite nice—except for one thing, but I’ll get into that later. The staff was responsive, honest, and helpful. The food at breakfast was delicious. The room was small but well-maintained and comfortable. All in all, A+ service. The ONLY drawback was that our toilet constantly smelled as if it hadn’t been properly cleaned in awhile. A hotel with character, this will be one of my favorites. The room was large, as I think there are only 5, and obviously modernized with a shower and toilet from the original, but it was done well and it's very comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, with breakfasts that are made to order, and they even allow you to order two on those days you are extremely peckish. There is an elevator too! Very clean, very safe and delightfully beautiful.
